  1. Instant Classic has this bizarre method of starting threads without actually reading the copious amounts of threads dedicated to the same topic.
  2. Yep. Could spell the end of top flight football for decades. We won't have a billionaire bail us out again.
  3. Has he not gone yet??
  4. Posted this back in June in the now closed new manager thread: "Quote Originally Posted by Maggie May View Post Would rather have Puel than Dyche. This club screwed itself by its sheer arrogance in deeming Premier League winner Manuel Pellegrini not good enough but opting for Puel, which instilled this rot that's eating away at our Premier League status. Puel should have stayed another season but shouldn't have been given the job in the first place. Pellegrino, meanwhile, is one of the worst managers I've seen.
  5. You guys do realise Lemina is going out with Balotelli's ex-missus, right? Rumour DEBUNKED.
  6. Liverpool fans in uproar over this. Funny that, could've sworn a Saints player was in the stands at Anfield for their game...
  7. Would he, though? Good players are having a hard time in our system. He's only played 30 Prem games in two years. Worth a punt on loan, for sure, but not with us.
  8. Both are not what we need IMO. This has shades of 2005 all over it.
  9. Bet we won't buy anyone.
  10. No, the club were absolutely wrong to appoint Puel in summer 2016. This is why we're in the doldrums.
  11. Stop making cr@p up ffs - no sacking, more sh*te, hello Championship.
  12. Out please.
  13. Sign Steve de Ridder
  14. Allegedly.
  15. Still think this will happen
  16. Well, that's the team he's gone with. Looks rough on paper but let's wait until 5pm to rip it apart. That said, if we're battered as a result, I think he should go.
  17. Puel obviously not the messiah
  18. I've said it before but I believe there is no togetherness in the team (in my opinion, of course). The same camaraderie exude from teams since Liebherr's takeover from Pardew through to Koeman seems non-existent and stems from the appointment of Puel. You need a cohesive squad to succeed however talented it may be.
  19. True BUT Nothing will change. Players don't care and the manager isn't capable of turning this team into winners. We've lost already.
  20. Yep, I was there when United sent us down in 2005.
  21. Going down boys
  22. I did. Reed looked good but has found his level. Maddison is a decent player too.
  23. I think Puel's been very lucky going to a team with togetherness. You could see it after their win last night. Plus Vardy, Mahrez and Gray are exceptional talents. Sadly, I fear there is discontent in the Saints camp and we don't possess anyone of the ilk I just mentioned. And I'm spot on when I say Puel has caused the fractious atmosphere between Saints players. It was the wrong appointment at the right time. Now we are paying for it. Football's a funny old game.
