QPR 6/1 for the win currently.

Well, he was…

Are we signing Lee Sharpe?

Good to see Brett Ormerod back in the game.

12 years ago this would’ve been the same description for Steve de Ridder.

I thought Dyche would get Everton ticking this season but I’ve probably been proven wrong off the back of that. The Everton forum makes for grim reading and I don’t think he’ll have long left. It’s a tricky one for Che. He seems like a Dyche signing. If that’s the case, why risk not being in favour with whoever comes in next if the board pull the trigger? His stock will be far greater helping propel us up the league at the end of the season than it will if he fizzles out in a very poor Everton team.

Hopefully he’ll stay. The financial reward for promotion outweighs Che leaving on a free.

status quo - down down Downes, Downes We’ve got Flynn Downes … and repeat
-
I don’t know enough about Matt Grimes to care but Football Insider is hardly a source.

We’d be on a solitary point if it wasn’t for Che so far this season. Swings and roundabouts.

Bald Faced Stag was a great little pub.

So that means Sulemana hopes he stays?
-
Edit.

I rarely get involved in transfer chat but Spurs are looking to sell Japhet Tanganga. Could he be what we’re looking for defensively? Edit: just read he’s been linked to Inter. Back in my box I go.

March of death brass band and Zombie Nation when we score - think you might be on to something.

I don’t want to be pessimistic as I have been impressed with a lot of our play over the past two Championship games but the defence does need sorting. It’s early doors but we need good results against Plymouth and QPR as the five games after could really set the tone for the season - Sunderland, Leicester, Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Leeds. All five will be our closest rivals this season.
-
Exactly - and it’ll will leave us having to deal with the unfortunate fallout when Flynn Downes tools.
-
Fonte dropped down to League One to play with us. We definitely were an enticing prospect. Hopefully that could ring true again if we are in contention by January.
-
It’s a great move for JWP. I don’t think the Hammers will be as bad as people think they will. Regardless of what United fans think of him, Maguire is a class signing, too.
-
Our fans need to get real. Last season’s defeat to Grimsby was worse than this. We don’t want to be in this competition across a 46 game league season.

Can we blame the new kit?
