Indeed. I recently went back and read a few posts. There was a brief period of hope under Jan but some of the results were horrid. Lots of acrimony towards Lowe and Wilde too. Very bleak days.

WBA for the playoffs, IMO.

Eric Black Mk 2…something meltdown something something meltdown…

Exactly this. Dread to think how insufferable this place may be if we regress to Championship mid-table mediocrity season after season.
-
Just stop, you guaranteeing a defeat with this methodology!
-
KWP is good enough for England. We are so lucky to have him.
-
We look so much more comfortable with Keith Andrews commentating than Don Goodman.
-
I don’t think I have the stomach for Sky’s Rooney love-in. We’ll go in 1-0 up half time before the inevitable second half collapse. 3-1 Brum and Don Goodman can drive home a happy man.

Systems do not win football matches. Players do.

Are we failing or are Leicester and Ipswich having one of a kind seasons? -
Can anyone compare every season RM has been a manager to this point right now with us? I’m talking game games played, wins, draws, defeats, losses. Interesting that Burnley were just a point ahead of us this time last season compared to what a jizzy job everyone thinks they did to win the league last season.

Saints fans = love an opportunity to put other fans down.
-
Very pleased he’s seemingly turning it around. I was a big time backer of RM since I saw how different our play was in pre-season and was confident it was the positive injection we needed after years of decline. That said, I was concerned during the four match losing streak and not afraid to hold my hands up and fear the worse. It looked unsalvageable. Rotherham was another worry despite playing them off the park. Now we’re back up to fifth without playing our best. Encouraging - imagine how good we’ll be once we start cooking with gas?
-
Just need to take the positives. That video alone is the embodiment of the Saints support. The good times will come again. We’ve been through a lot of sh*t and enjoyed some epic highs - wouldn’t change it for the world.
-
Love it. Really hope he can kick on this season. Been disappointing so far.
-
Another frustrating part about not seeing out the win to Rotherham is our next three fixtures against very good sides who will now be our closest rivals for the playoffs. I can’t see us getting much out of them if I’m honest.
-
We don’t have this in us.
-
Frustratingly, we could have pushed on after Koeman. We were an attractive, fashionable club ready to establish ourselves as a top 10 side. It just didn’t happen. There was some hope we’d start to turn it around again after appointing Hassenhuttl but, for some reason, it was a failure in the end.
-
That was awful.
-
Imagine getting sussed out by Rotherham.
-
Sort this out. Rubbish.
-
Edit
-
Me too. They’re not.
-
I don’t think anyone else cares enough for us to be considered a laughing stock.
-
He’s up there as one of our worst ever signings.

I do respect JWP for everything he did for the club but he was not captain material when he needed to be last season.
