Aaaaaaand breathe...! Thank gawd for that! 1-0 win, 3 points, 2nd place.

And no need to call me fluff, sweetie!

...and Pelle, and Davis, Mane, Tadic...

Our passing in tight situations has been ok mostly, but unnervingly soft at times, giving the ball away too often. Fortunately, Stoke have been pretty good at giving it straight back.

Eek, heart in mouth...! Phew!

Yep, saw that. but I thought Fletcher was looking to deliberately leave his foot trailing onto the 'keeper, as many do these days, unfortunately. For that reason not a penalty IMO, although based on how the game is these days, we got very lucky. Sunderland fans will be feeling pretty aggrieved, especially as we then went on to score within a minute or two. -

Never a penalty - only contact was Fletcher using Forster as a springboard -

Dirty ba$tard! Deserved a yellow-and-a-half! -
This article is also notable for showing a photo with him without a visible Saints logo on his shirt.

Which Saints goal does he wish he had scored, instead of the real goalscorer? Also, how well has he recovered from his accident?

--------------------------Shilton----------------------------- Ivan Golac---Michael Svensson---Mark Wright---Mark Dennis--- Matt Le Tissier---Kevin Keegan---Steve Williams---Rod Wallace--- -----------------------Mick Channon------Alan Shearer------------- Can I choose a 2nd XI, too? Oh, go on then... 1st XI subs/2nd XI: Tim Flowers Jason Dodd Jim Steele Chris Nicholl Wayne Bridge (for when Dennis gets sent off! Subs allowed for that in my world) Jimmy Case (for Williams) Glenn Cockerill Morgan Schneiderlin Danny Wallace Paul Rideout (need some height between Ted & Danny!) Ted MacDougall 2nd XI subs: Bobby Stokes (for when we reach the Cup Final) Steve Moran

It's just not falling for us today!
-
And if I remember correctly from last season, we found it awkward when teams did the same back to us. No real Plan B from Poch. 2nd half tactic, maybe?
-
Probably something to do with the England captain scoring then getting sent off, with the England manager looking on.

Yes, sorry to resurrect such an old thread - I did a search for 'Superstitions' so I didn't start a new thread, which may have invited the common first reply of "There's already a thread on this", followed by a link to it. Found this, thought it suitable. I don't consider myself to be more arrogant/deluded/stupid/weird/silly/god-like than your standard human, but the human psyche is a wonderful thing and if it makes people feel more comfortable in themselves, why not? Call it 'habit' if you prefer.
