I can’t see him signing for us for one simple reason… … we’re too far south. He’s always (expect for a short loan spell at Birmingham who was managed by his former Manchester United team mate Steve Bruce) played in the north either with Man U or Newcastle. I think it would take a lot for him to drop into league one & also move right to the other end of the country at his age, especially if he feels he’ll spend a lot of time not playing through injury or squad rotation.

The Luton Director was on Talksport. He said that he doesn't want Saints to be deducted the points (after all us getting point deducted has no direct effect on them), but if the Football League didn't then they would be talking up the issue with the Football League because, as far as Luton Town is concerned, there are similarities between the manners in which administration was under taken. As far as I could make out the, best situation for LTFC would be for us to avoid a points deduction so they could try to get some/all of there points back.

I’ve been watch Saints since 1991. Not exactly the glories years of the late 70s and early 80’s but there were plenty of enjoyable and rewarding times. That was until Dec 03. We had just beaten P****y 3-0 and were sitting 4th in the Prem (happy days!!) and then I started going out with my girlfriend, and the downward spiral began. Related or unrelated – I blame her a lot
