  1. Welcome to the building Dany, now get yourself on that Bus!
  2. Well it's nice to have some balance! It'd be boring if we were all optimists or all pessimists All I know is that I've seen Brighton play a few times and they really don't look like champions. They're a shadow of the side norwich were last year. It's ours to win and if we keep our last 8 game form going for the rest of the season we'll win the league (providing one of those wins is against Brighton)
  3. God you're a pessimistic bunch. 8 points is all we need to make up. I think it will come down to the game at the withdean, win that and we'll be champions. It's as simple as that
  4. An excellent strategy. But what about when Tommy Forecast gets injured?
  5. But what if Thomas Moore then gets injured? At least two more strikers needed I think
  6. The £1.5 million would barely cover the medical costs for treating Holmes and Connolly!! I smell utter BS. However, if true, it would be one of the great swindles of the century!!!
  7. I remember the good old days when everything was announced on a Friday, and at a reasonable hour!
  8. Oh dear. This bit of knowledge could open the floodgates for wannabe ITKers. Every crap bit of 'insider knowledge' that turns out to be BS can now be dismissed as 'oh well it must have been ****** leaked by the club on purpose"
  9. Norwich lost at Prenton Park last year. They're now challenging for automatic promotion to the Premier League. Maybe losing away to Tranmere isn't the end of the f***ing world after all
  10. Your facts clearly mean nothing. Your reasoned and considered argument pales in significance against the 'bigger picture'. But what is the 'bigger picture'?? Is it merely a completely ambiguous, and therefore impossible to argue against with real facts, measure of a manager's success or is there more to it than that? The 'bigger picture'. Discuss
  11. When Plymouth played at St. Mary's earlier in the season, the Plymouth fans booed Puncheon - which seemed strange at the time given that he hardly played for them. Perhap it's something to do with an off-the-field incident?
  12. Listen, it's as simple as this, it's as simple as that, everyone on the bus has a smile on their face
  13. Agreed, and instead of "all day long" we should sing "simple as that"! No? My coat you say?
  14. If we sign a striker with genuine pace, it will improve the squad, no question. Whether we need one to go up is another matter, but it's a definite gap in our squad
  15. He also said "listen, it's as simple as this" for the first time. We're used to "simple as that", can we handle "simple as this"? I for one am on the bus!
  16. Nah, you can't read anything into what Adkins said, it was a glorious flourish of diversionary nonsense. The 'bus' he was referring to was a metaphor for saints' promotion push. When asked about Puncheon, he said (and I believe this is a first) "it's as simple as this" before spouting the aforementioned nonsense. It was hilarious to listen to, and a very entertaining way of not answering the question. NA is awesome. It's as simple as that
  17. Hahaha! Adkins' interview was hilarious..asked whether Puncheon wanted to stay "listen, it's as simple as this, the wheels are in motion and we've got people on the bus who want to be on the bus, it's as simple as that!"
  18. ITK? Or do you just not like the guy?
  19. For what it's worth, I completely agree with the OP. This squad IS good enough for promotion as it is. However if we're able to bring in a pacey right-footed winger/striker to add competition to aoc, then we should, and that player should be of sufficient quality to be an integral part of our NPC promotion challenge next year. I'm not saying that player should be Antonio, if anything it should be a better version of him..that's where our ambitions should be
  20. Calm down dear. I was highlighting the type of player I think we needed, using an actual player to support my assertion. I don't need to 'get over' anything, I agree Chambo is better than MA, as is Puncheon, but at present we don't have an ALTERNATIVE to Chambo who can come on and do a job when he cramps up after 70 minutes. Who did we replace him with against Brighton? Butterfield. And immediately we were less of a threat going forward. Same thing happened against dagenham and we very neatly lost the game. Do you really think the squad is perfect as it is?
  21. I think we need a striker to replace Connolly. Whilst I doubt we could find one who is as talented as him, we could easily find one who would spend less time in the treatment room. A right-footed pacey winger to compete with Chambo would be a good addition, preferably one who can play up front too. A certain Mr. Antonio would fit the bill perfectly
  22. This is completely untrue, and you will not be able to find any evidence to back this up. Our form in the 2nd half of the season was the best in the league, despite this supposed 'hinderance' of being in 2 cups. Two things cost us. The 1st 10 games and the -10. As our superb manager would say, it's as simple as that!
  23. Fonte's on the bench is he? Well he's definitely off to another club in January in that case
  24. It worked a treat when we played it against exeter, lallana thrives at the top of a diamond
