No the reason they fit them is to work out the correct angle of the head at address and the correct length of shaft. I have just got a new set and have dropped 2 shots off my handicap as they are fitted to me.

My mate is the head green keeper there and i played it 2 weeks ago. I know the members with higher handicaps are constantly moaning about the rough but the better golfers like it, makes it more challenging. He used to be a green keeper at the hampshire and i played there a few times it is ok but not as good as sherfield. I can see both sides of the story here to be honest, yes I think the team should get an applause at the end of the game however when catching the train down (as i live near Brizzle) you sometimes have to leave early to make sure you get back for the train. Up till last year I was a season ticket holder for 6 years but been a saints fan since when my grand parents took me to the dell 20 years ago. The only reason I don't have one this year is i have had to re locate to bristol due to lack of work in Southampton. Agree with this there can be no harm in signing him on a pay per game basis. He will provide decent cover if any of the first choices get injured.
