Thought the team display was immense. Cedric with another stormer, not so attacking but brilliant defensively. But the team played so well for the full match. Another clean sheet and yet again restricting another team to a single long range shot on target. So important that, if nothing is heading towards your goal, you will not concede. I really hope Messers Koeman stay for much longer, still a perfect fit for this great football club.

Would you include Kenwynne Jones on the list of Academy players we brought through? -
After seeing Dr Barry Gale had been back at the club, I've been telling everyone that we were going to thrash Arsenal. Did not expect it to actually happen though, now everyone thinks I'm a football genius. Great result, great team, great goal, so proud to support Saints and to have the team both on and off the pitch that we do. I love this club and whilst we will have some downs, it only serves to make the ups so much sweeter.

Apologies, didn't look down far enough. Presumed it would be right at the top! :-)

I'm presuming as there is no thread yet that everyone who has it is still playing it non-stop? This could be the game that gets me to upgrade to a PS4 from my trusty old PS3. My work colleague booked off Tues-Fri this week to start playing it at midnight on Mon right through the week. She has said that it is amazing and does not disappoint at all. What is everyone else's thoughts? Reviews look pretty good so far. Interested in hearing about this game as I loved Fallout 3 aqnd New Vegas.

I bought this ages ago, played it once last year at a friends house but have been playing Skyrym, Crysis and The Walking Dead games over the last few months, saving it for this coming weekend when my wife is away. Really excited about playing this when I've got a number of days to fully get into the game and progress through. Remember playing last year and loving it so I'm hopeful this weekend is going to be a fun one.

I thought it was actually a very interesting game from a Saints perspective. VvD was easily the man of the match and I felt we controlled the game pretty much from start to finish. We didn't look like conceeding at all and agree with Ron that we looked like the home side. Just lacked thst creative spark in the final 3rd, players not willing to take a gamble. What I was impressed with was the willingness of both Fonte and VvD to pick up the ball and run at the opposition, both looked very composed on the ball, as for VvD's passing, excellent. We've got ourselves a gem there. Was pleased when SRL went off as he was having a good game for them, bringing the ball down and bringing players into the game, what Pelle should have been doing for us. Overall not an exciting game but I had a great time and a good day in Brum.

Ronald and Erwin in drag... (yes, really)

Well, that is this year's final away game fancy dress sorted out! :-) -
Not seen anything of the game, still drunk in Mauritius, 0 0 against Watford is poor. What is happening with Gaston Ramirez? From what I have seen, we are crying out for that type of player currently.

We will finish 4th this season! Not the greatest start but we are going to be strong finishers this year. Just a feeling, but I think that Mr Koeman is going to give this squad the confidence to be amazing.......and I might be a touch drunk!

First day of my honeymoon in Mauritius, walking through the capital and my wife spots a new Saints shirt on the opposite side of the road. I run over and introduce myself to the guy who turns out is a Mauritian Saints fan. Fell in Love with Saints in the Le Tiss era when he was a kid. He recently started a job and always wanted a Saints shirt so he bought the new one with a 4 on the back as he loved Spiderman. He`d never met another Saints fan before so was really pleased when we stopped him to chat. Persuaded my wife that the omens were good and we should watch the match live in the hotel bar. Oh dear! At least we got some amazing Magarita`s during the game. Still a long way to go, but Everton look like us last season when we were right up there. Absolutely amazed and chuffed to find a genuine Saints fan in Mauritius. My wife still loves the Saints though I`m not sure she is so happy that I`d persuaded her to watch the match on the first day on our honeymoon after that performance. Oh well, onwards and upwards. We march on!

Disappointing end to that saga there. Really hoped Toby would've been our player next season. Oh well, I trust that Les and Ron will find a worthy\better replacement and we'll trounce Spurs next season in both fixtures for a change. I'll never forget that 4-1 drubbing on live TV against Hoddle's Spurs team in the F.A. Cup. One of my favourite moments watching Saints.

Was it? ;-)

Just hope that the Villa game is not moved as I've already booked the hotel and hire car for the Saturday. Checked that there was no Europa match on the Thursday and who would want to watch us on T.V. against Villa in December. Obviously going to be a 0-0 borefest like every season. Ooohhhhh!

Membership scheme a great idea that worked in the past - massively over-priced for 2 adults who will only ever want to go to a handful of matches over the course of a season. The only benefit is a slightly increased chance to get tickets before general sale. Not worth £50 to me, might not get the chance to pop to St Marys and Southampton next season now, which will be a shame.

"I thought you were Phil Tufnell" Funniest line of the year! I showed it to my fiancee last night and she was dubious about sitting through over 8 minutes of a YouTube video. She laughed out loud at the Phil Tufnell line and then proceeded to share it on Facebook. Excellent marketing from the club.

Cannot add much to the above really. I've done the drive twice, first South to North and then North to South. It is spectacular no matter which direction you go. We camped the bulk of the way, some great campsites dotted along the route. Santa Barbara is good for a stop, Hearst Castle is touristy but well worth the stop and tour, Monterey aquarium is a must see, book tickets in advance online if you can to avoid the queues, Santa Cruz is a wonderful place to stop - can recommend the expensive but homely Adobe on the Green as a place to stay. Alcatraz in SF is an absolute must as is Yosemite, but that is one hell of a drive off of the route but well worth it. In LA we enjoyed Santa Monica and Venice Beach but that is all we did while there as for us, LA is all about the nightlife along Sunset Strip - The Whisky, Saddleranch and The Rainbow Bar and Grill. There are some wonderful little places just to pull into to check out along the coast, just see what takes your fancy - Morro Bay was good, not far from Pismo which again was a nice place to camp. It's a wonderful place to visit and you'll have a great time.

Salzburg is a fabulous city. Would love to go but am getting married a few days after.....in Poole! :-) Anyone who does go, you must try the Augustiner Biergarten. Superb food and wonderful food in a massive garden. Highly recommended! http://www.augustinerbier.at/index.php?id=braeustuebl&L=1 -
It's been said in many, many threads over the years and will continue to be said again and again, if an outfield player makes a mistake, it usually doesn't end up as a goal but when a keeper makes a mistake......well, that is the neature of the beast, isn't it. I think the stats speak for themselves currently, we have a great defensive TEAM, made up of top class defenders and a top class keeper in Forster. I am pleased we have such a young and talented keeper as 1st choice. He is only going to get better. As for Davis, I'm pleased as punch that he's back in the side. You know he will not let us down and will show his commitment to this club in the final games of the season. I'd rather have him playing than an untried youth team keeper he might struggle. Kelvin is doing his bit for the squad and has so far, not put a foot wrong. I'm just pleased that we're still in with a shout for something as the end of the season approaches and we are not just seeing out the season with nothing to play for. Very exciting season that I'm enjoying very much, many more highs than lows for a change!

Did a camping trip to Croatia a few years ago, was great fun and very easy to get around on buses. We stuck to the South of the country, not going any further North than Trogir which is not far away from Split. Trogir is a lovely harbour town with some decent restaurants. Our campsite was out of town with a lovely pebbly beach. I think the majority of beaches in Croatia are pebbly. Split is a great base to get to the islands, we enjoyed Hvar, another nice harbour town but found peace, quiet and some shade in Stari Grad. It was a wonderful place. Not much to do but relax really. Dubrovnik and Cavtat to the South are also well worth staying at. Great places to walk around, especially the walk around the top of the old town wall in Dubrovnik though it is steep in some places. Pizza in Croatia is amazing, has influences from Italy (Obviously) but a fraction of the cost. As mentioned, we used buses to get around and were camping. All the campsites had great facilities and loads of space. In Split we got an apartment due to the lack of camping options and found this to be very easy from the tourist office. While we were there in July, it was roasting hot and it did not cool down. In a tent, it was unbearable but was fine in the apartment and in Stari Grad where there was shade. I can highly recommend Croatia, we loved it!

Did a year out a couple of years ago, booked round the world flights through STA, cannot recommend them highly enough. We did SE Asia, Australia, NZ, Fiji, Central America and USA (southern states). Can highly recommend it as an experience. Best thing we ever did. No need to book accomodation in advance, except maybe the first few nights. We had no issues just turning up somewhere and getting into a hostel. Would sometimes book in advance as we went round using Hostel World, would recommend that.

Mane reminds me of Kenwynne Jones in terms of raw talent when they joined the club. Jones turned into a very, very good premier league player, just not for us. I personally think Mane is a better player already and will hopefully stay with us for the long haul as he is only going to get better and better.

Very much the Brett Ormerod of this Saints team. Might not score lots and lots of goals but his commitment and contribution to the team is unquestionable. Pleased he is in our squad and believe he is worth every penny we paid.
