Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?
LainPain replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
I wonder if Chelsea (on loan to Stoke so thread relevant) would consider letting go of Zouma, think on a perm -
Awesome, thanks a lot.
-
Probably a silly question, but I'm trying to buy one and it's collection only. Guessing there's no chance of a ticket being delivered at this stage?
-
LOL...I miss having desirable attacking players.

Ranked! Premier PL fans by their annoyingness
LainPain replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Wow. How annoying must the other 19 sets of fans be? -
The black box seemed to have a bit of mare last summer, but well back on track this. Our defence/holding midfield situation is looking very solid, though agree our attacking players are a way behind.

Ryan Betrand taking action in support of Grenfell Tower victims

This should unify everyone; anyone who doesn't feel genuinely nauseous about what's happened I'd worry about. It's not about any sort of politics but how on earth do we help these people move on, because its going to be almost impossible. -

100% if he would actually want to come here, would be quite a coup.

Redmond shortlisted for EA player of the month!

Lukaku, King and Sakho have all been brilliant. Good to see NR in there though. -
Sorry if its been asked but does anyone know if/when the Inter home tickets would go on general sale? I'm a member but looking to get a second ticket.
-
Exactly. If you look for the reasons we finished on 63 points rather then 60 this year, despite all the turmoil, this is one.

Mata will go to a top champions league team for £30m+. Worth keeping an eye out for the rejected young players, loan to buy or otherwise. Januzaj perhaps, certainly doesn't fit the Mourinho style.
-
Would have been impressed if Rooney had played two days in row . Agree though, just like Gerrard playing deep, it doesn't work when naturally attacking players play that role at international level. Would be nice for England to line up with two genuine, defensively aware central midfielders for once. Rooney should just be a flexible option who can play in a few attacking positions.

I suspect his decision to take the penalty was to impress the England scouts (though could have backfired!). He'll go to France. Contrary to seemingly popular opinion, Roy actually tends to go on form.
-
Relegated players I'd consider for the right price; Townsend, Mitrovic (somehow he's only 21!), Krul, Redmond, maybe Amavi/Ayew as cheap backups.
-
Stek would be ok, but it would be nice if we had more ambition and got in a young keep who could compete with FF in the coming years.
-
Koeman is a better tactician then Poch ultimately, despite Poch's strong plan A. His main strength is player development, seen with us and Spurs. I read somewhere that Spurs have dropped the most points from leading positions, something like 20.

Brilliant player, just very very good at what he's supposed to be good at. Biggest reason he'll be such a big loss IMO, is top class midfield crunchers are so hard to find. With our team becoming very good at counter attacking at pace, having someone who regularly wins the ball back whilst the other team are on the charge is worth plenty of points.

Mad season so impossible to predict. Let's home for a couple of miserly draws. West Ham vs Man Utd's a cracker though.

BREAKING: Premier League clubs announce £30 cap on away tickets

Absolutely superb tbf. -
Booked yesterday, fair few tickets left but wouldn't be suprised to see it sell out eventually.

Will this go on sale to members/general sale? Thought it might as its on a Tuesday.
