What's big Nic's email then? Anyone now??

Why are we all wrong to question the club? I'm not moaning for moaning sake, I've had a season ticket for 20 years, as far back as I can remember, probably the year I purchased the last dell and first SMS I've used the payment plan. The payment plan formed part of the 'supporters charter' I was obviously going to renew my 2 season tickets this year via the payment plan, I now can't as this facility has been withdrawn, with no notice! Why can you not see there is a problem here? I'm not asking for anything special, just what I've been offered the last 10 years or so, if that isn't now forming part of the Supporters charter adequate notice is the least a paying customer deserves in order to make alternative arrangements, no??? How ******ed off would you be if Southampton city council released a statement next April saying they wanted all the council tax paid by the end of the month??
-
Dav it's so easy to police - Sign up to March madness 5 month payment plan 1st payment - April 1st 2nd payment - May 1st 3rd payment - June 1st 4th payment - July 1st 5th payment - August 1st All payments cleared, post season ticket August 2nd ready for August 7th ko!!!! Ain't really that hard!!!!!
-
Honestly?? You can't see what the fuss is about? You can't see that fans are upset that after paying for this product via this facility for years said facility has been withdrawn with no notice meaning a lot of fans will now be left with no season ticket??
-
Did you mention "world class catering" funny that! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2060348,00.html

You can be ambitious and still look after your customers - http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1941398,00.html

An example of good ticketing that rewards the fan's loyalty and get's much needed income into the club and more importantly a full stadium! http://www.canaries.co.uk/page/NewsDetails/0,,10355~1941398,00.html

Yes, when it was 'March madness' you'd almost paid for the entire season ticket by the time the season had ko! As I said earlier it's easy to police, change the terms to 5 months, take the 1st payment on April 1st and last payment on 1st August, once all payments had cleared you then send the season ticket!
-
Yes I do expect SFC to offer a payment plan, especially when you read this "a payment plan for season tickets to make them cost-effective." within the 'Supporters charter" I've used this form of payment for as long as can remember, why would I not expect this arrangement to carry on? I along with most would of been in a position to pay outright, IF i'd been advised earlier that this facility was to be withgrawn!
-
Man Utd are a pretty successful team yet they manage to offer a payment plan http://www.manutd.com/default.sps?pagegid={6267FDD7-971D-4A90-98B2-E7B4D246D208}# are we the only team that no longer offer such a facility?
-
I have no idea how to multi quote either :-) I do get your point about a new credit card, probably not an option for everyone but would work for some, my main gripe is the timing! Surely we could of been told this back in January giving everyone the time to save??
-
I think we are slightly going of topic, the bottom line is be it a credit agreement or a simple debit transaction, the facility, without notice has been withdrawn meaning a lot of fans will now be left with no season ticket!!
-
Its all relative though diggers, Exeter get 5k fans and we get 22k fans, we have ambition to move up the leagues. Our turnover is greater than theirs so there is no reason why Exeter can afford this yet we can't!
-
Come on digger it's not difficult, i'm sure the club has on line banking like the rest of us. If all payments come out the same day it'd only take minutes to scroll down to make sure all payments are made. We have ticket office staff, there must be day's when there is nothing to do when the check could be made. If a payment fails you simply do not send a ticket!
-
I also think people should look at the bigger picture, just because NC & ML saved does not mean they are beyond revoke. I'm one of their customers, I have had a season ticket for 20 years, 2 for 4 years. I have for as long as I can remember paid on the payment plan, I've never missed a payment yet this facility has now been taken away without notice. Is it an over reaction to be ******ed of that after so long supporting my team via a season ticket I'm going to have to give it up? Is it an over reaction to be ******ed that I've got to tell my son he's not renewing?
-
You didn't answer this point earlier so lets try again, where's the risk?? The club are not lending anyone any money, in reality it is us, the fan's that are taking all the risk. It is us who are paying up front for a product which we have no idea what the quality is going to be. In reality the way football is now day's we don't even know if the club will still be there at the end of the season so we could loose all our money! If the club were to structure it correctly there is no risk whatsoever, do it over 5 months, 1st payment being April 1st, last payment 1st August if you miss any payment the club does not send your ticket, easy really!!!
-
Yes great business that is DD, by leaving it this late the club has lost 2 season ticket buyers, and we're not alone, great communication and business!
-
Fine, then don't put it in your 'Supporters charter' and if you are going to offer a facility then do the decent thing and advise your client that this offer has ceased, with adequate notice so the client can make alternative arrangements!
-
Spot on, They could have done it this way to stop any fraud, Do the March madness, first payment comes out 1st April followed by 4 further payments on the 1st of each month, the last payment being 1st August, if any payment is missed the contract is cancelled and no ticket sent!
-
Your missing the point mate, I along with most others who used the payment plan would of made other arrangements to finance our season tickets, if we'd been informed that this facility was to be withdrawn from the club!!!! No one is comparing this to a disaster, we'll apart from you, what people are "moaning" about is the fact as a paying customer no one is communicating with us!
-
But are the club not charging an on line surcharge for tickets purchased that way???
-
Fair comment mate, I did say I have no idea how he works, but my point was about communicating with his customers, do you question that point??
-
New training ground/players v cheapo ST in installments
St. Jason replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
What risk Dell days, i'm paying up front for a ticket? Ok mate, I sign a 6 month agreement in March as per normal, first payment comes out April followed by 5 more equal payments, last payment being 1st September, if I'd missed a payment the club simply wouldn't send a ticket. If it was the last payment I'd missed then ban me from the stadium meaning I'd paid 90% and only been to 2 games, the club win's either way! Get the swipe system fitted so there can be no more abuse, its an investment the need to have no stewards manning the turnstiles would pay for the technology within a few seasons, even Southend had the scanners!! -
To be fair YOU have no idea how he operates either, you have no idea what sort of credit he offers his customers for his wine coolers! PS do you not think the fact he was left an equal share of the company by his dad, Han's, helped him become the billionaire he is?? PPS no I have no idea how he works, but you can bet your season ticket renewal money that if Tesco were purchasing a job lot of coolers he'd (his rep's) communicate better than they have with us!!
