  1. Fair point mate, my only reply to this would be that Mandaric is financing his mistakes with his own money, its his club, lock stock and 2 smoking barrels! Ps. which club can you see making the promised land first??
  2. go on then once bitterne, you start talking. Your alwyas the man backing up the creepe that is Lowe, you think there is a club that has a list of failed, sacked, walked away etc staff the same as sfc, name it, post the club, chairman etc that compares to Lowe!!
  3. yes your quite right, all the fans that have had enough of all the ****e going on down at st.marys should turn up to protest to get rid of Lowe!! Same crap isn't it, down to the fans everytime " if you really loved the club you'd turn up" or "if you hate lowe get outside and protest" how about " we'd rather the anti Lowe brigade stay away, no place for booing during the game", same crap just a different spin. How about Lowe's a budgy and is killing our once great club and all us poor sad sap fans can do is sit there, pay our money to watch the reserves play yet "get behind our team and put the past (lowe) behind us) CRAP!!!
  4. You are 1 fan my freind, I have 12 ex-season ticket holder mates, who will not set foot in St. Mary's whilst Lowe is there. Not 1 said they were not going because of the **** football, we all felt things had changed at the end of last season. The team, management, players & fans all seemed united, passionate, together. Then the return of Lowe saw 7 mates say straight away "I'm not renewing" quickly followed by the other 5 when Lowe closed the Itchen corner! I'm not saying you are wrong or I am right, just giving my story, I now sit in St. Mary's alone :-(
  5. I'm a season ticket holder and feel this should of already happened this season whilst fans thought we'd be in anything other than a relegation scrap right to the end! In summary, about time SFC, just hope you haven't left it to late and there are still fans wanting to come after 1 win in 9 home games!
  6. Who's hero worshipping, not me mate! If Leicster had won that day we'd still of stayed up as Coventry lost and would of taken their place, so by Pearson doing HIS job and guiding Saints to the win against Shef Utd we stayed up, we stayed up because we won!
  7. The point is Once Bittern he only lost 4!!!! Also he had no pre-season, no time for the 'team to get to know each other'. Turn the tables mate, Jan taking over from Dodd & Gorman then Pearson taking over from Jan, for my money Pearson would be starting of from Div 1 as there's not a snowball in hell's chance that Jan would of kept us up!! All imo obvioulsy!
  8. Nobody is saying there is a quick fix, more like did so much need fixing in the first place?? We had a young English manager in Pearsons who had served his time @ England, Newcastle & West Brom with the youth, U 21, reserve & caretaker roles. Pearson gave Lallana his debut last year so coupled with his track record with youth would suggest he could of followed the 'youth first policy'! Leon Crouch had already identified that cost's would have to be cut & loaned out 2 high earners in Skacel & Rasiak last season, so i see no reason why he'd not of done what was needed to cut cost's this year. Also, according to Lowe, Crouch would of shut the corners this term as Lowe has done which again proves he was no mug and would of done what was needed even if it hurt. My point is things were in place to make a go of it this year, I felt there was a renewed optimism at the end of last season. A united fan base, a togetherness, passion had been restored, atleast that's how I and my friends felt until the return of Lowe! I'm sorry but I feel he is the major obstacle at this club, i for one do not believe we'd be getting gates of 14k if the same management set were still in place now! Jason.
  9. **** off you patronising ****! rhere is no room for fans like you in our club, i'd rather no club as opposed to sitting next to a **** like you!
  10. What no DMG????? Thought he was head and shoulders better than John, also see Rasiak and Saga above DMG in the same article, still, JVP & Lowe knows best!
  11. Pretty basic um isn't it, any business that takes its customers for granted will loose said customers. Simple analogy, you go to the same restaurant each month for the last 10 years with your wife & order your favourite steak, a bit pricey but hey its your favourite. You visit the restaurant for this months meal only to find its 'under new management' your then told that your favourite steak has been replaced by corned beef & to add insult to injury they want the same price! Do you:- A. stay & keep coming as you've been coming for years & feel a loyalty to said restaurant. B. Stay, give it a go as the new management may know something about corned beef that no one else does, taste it then leave. C. Leave never to return until the management sort it out. Silly but how many times have we been called customers (or worse) my the PLC Chairman!
  12. All fair comments mate, I don't agree with them but thats the beauty of football & life, it's all about different opinions! Note: I think the empty stadium is already with us!!
  13. So what your saying is in 12 months or so Wilde & Crouch undid all Lowes excellent financial work of the previous 10 years?? Come on mate, Lowe has mismanaged this club for over a decade, if he'd looked after the finances (10 years of prem rights, the record sales of Beattie, bridge, crouch, walcott, bale etc, cup final, cup runs, double gate reciepts) like he should have there'd be no problem. Crouch & Wilde took a gamble, it nearly paid of. Also don't forget Burley was Lowe's man, if Lowe had invested the money he spent on SCW the first season we went down on keeping Phillips, i think we'd of gone straight back up!
  14. If this is true i'm speachless, i dislike Lowe with a passion but this would be an all time Low point. It does sound like Lowe, he has the spite for it, as he's shown by closing the Itchen North as it housed the 'Lunatic fringe' what a way to refer to your customers!!!
  15. I think you are right mate, I just cannot see a happy outcome to any of this!
  16. I hear you mate, sad!
  17. swing him from the itchen bridggggggggggggggge
  18. Cleaning the windows, you had a better afternoon than me mate, until i got back in the pub that is! Can you see yourself going again? The club is dead mate, its sad, its like watching your nan slowly die, you love it so much but you know there's nothing you can do save her!!!
  19. I think people do still care, just we've had the passion/life sucked out of us. It's no longer enjoyable, its not something i look forward to doing, its become a chore!!! After the game I met some mates up the bedfords, these lads used to be season ticket holders, they left the pub the same time as me & went to town on the beer @ 3, i couldn't talk any of them into coming to the game, not interested, sad!!!
  20. Things are not great within this 'young' squad. I was talking to one of the young players that i know yesterday, he was saying how the lads don't really know what's going on, he said they are screaming for some experience, a leader, a captain to take them forward, also doesn't like DMC, says he's greedy and not a team player!!
  21. Fair point Rob, I still Love Southampton Football Club, I still have my 2 season tickets, i just can't see myself arguing with my wife about not going to someones birthday, wedding, christening etc because Saints are at home anymore!! Each and every other fan has his or her right to do as they wish, I am no better or worse a fan than the next man for saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
  22. I'm sorry to say mate that they can hear us, they hear us load and clear it's just they choose not to listen!! RIP my beloved SFC!!!
  23. Just one more quick point, unfortunately i was not escorted out, I had a couple of pints, returned to my seat, sat there for what seemed a couple of hours, lost the will to live, then left at the 75 min, I wasn't alone!!!
  24. It was me and I make no apologies for it. The barrage, as a previous poster said, was aimed at Lowe, but for some reason Lowe was not there (maybe in the dressing room for the half time chat??) only Cowen & Wotte was there, so they had the pleasure of my dis-pleasure! I dont care what anyone says, I've had enough. I've had a season ticket for over 20 years, i purchased 2 this year. I knew it would be a sham as soon as Lowe came back but I didn't want to fall into the bracket of (not a real fan) which is so quickly used on this forum! Well **** it, call me what you want, i dont care anymore and i tell you what, if someone like me has had enough and can't be arsed to go anymore, it must be bad. I've had enough of wilde, illingsworth etc calling on fans to 'save' the club. Any other PLC would be asking it's share holders for help, but they won'y do that as Lowe & Wilde would have to put their hand in their own pocket! I've had enough of Lowe closing my corner (itchen north) the excuse is bull****! How does closing the itchen south/kingsland north save money?? The same turnstiles, bars, food outlets etc are still being used, its all about Lowe getting his own back on the 'lunatic fringe' by closing the Itchen north, he had to close the other corners to mask this fact. I've had enough of paying £24 to watch the reserves when it was free last season. I've had enough of seeing international players (Scachle, John) sat on the bench when the team so obviously need thier help. I've had enough of watching our manager, sorry, head coach out of his depth, whilst the manager we let go is sat at the top of his league. I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!
