I think Lowe & Co are panicking it's not going to sell out, which is why he's giving more us season ticket holders more! I thought we had ,10k + season ticket holders which would = 20k for man u but we've sold 15k, so why give us more because "the demand surprised us"? I went down Thursday when the tickets went on sale to members, the club was expecting a huge rush of members as there were 2 burger bars there, there was more people working in the bars than queing!!

I wouldn.t call you a lowe luvvie for having a different opinion to me, thats your right. It is total bollux, but would you really, really put it beyond this ego obsessed chairman? What is he doing on the pitch, in the dug out and in the dressing room? I know he can go where ever he wants, i understand he is the boss, but surely it can't be good for the team or manager or the club for that matter. He is the chairman of the PLC his job is in the boardroom, that should be where his total 100% concentration is. Not in the tunnel before the game, surely you would agree he'd be best of entertaining the opposistion chairman, directors and potential investors in the boardroom, i've heard the radio saying "i'm down in the tunnel, Mr. Lowe is over there talking to Jack Corke" get away from the team!

Just a quick idea, never thought about it untill now. why are we cr4p in the first half yet ok in the second? Could it be becuase Lowe does indeed give a team talk before the game where as at half time he has to do his chairman bit and meet the opposing chairman for prawn sandwiches and port, so JP takes the half time chat?? Don't instantly dismiss this, think about it, digest it, what do you think??

How can the team respond to the boss when they don't even know who the boss is? Imagine the dressing room before the game, Portaloo talking to the midfield, Gore talking to the defenders, Hockaday talking to the strikers (sorry striker, we only play 1 up front) the the dark lord (Lowe) giving his unifying team talk, would you go over the top for Lowe?? me again, starting to look personal, it isn't, honestly! You could also use your exact argument against JP! JP must be to blame for the first half display aswell as the second half!

Sorry topick on you again mate, but just something else about your post, you've "lost confidence in the players" these lads are as young as 17, they should of never been asked to take sole responsebility for the future of our club, THEY ARE NOT READY Any one with a pinch of footy knowledge would surely agree, yes play some kids, but you must have the balance between youth and old heads in the team otherwise you get............................................................................................Saints 2008-09

What do you mean "he obviously has passion for the club" why? He's been here 6 months, its passion for the club, its passion for his job. I'm not saying passion for his job is a bad thing just saying i don't believe its passion for the club! Back to the post, NO, i have no confidence in Jan, or Wotte, or Lowe, or Gore. IMO we (Lowe) made a huge mistake letting Pearson go. Art you've been supporting Saints for 60 years and you feel "for once we're moving in the right direction"????????? Your obviously a life long fan and seen some very, very, very dark times if this is "moving in the right direction" one would of thought getting promoted, countless semi finals, cup finals, regular trips to Europe, winning the cup, finishing second, more semi's & finals, moving to a new stadium, seeing home grown talent play for England etc etc would be classed as "moving in the right direction. Not relegation, selling every player of any value, becoming a national laughing stock for our SCW experiment, staring administraion and oblivion in the face! is it just a coincidence that the games Lowe hasn't attended is the games we win, could also explain why we're not winning at home as he's in the dressing room!

Look in fairness to pearson he took over a club 80% thru the season, he had no pre-season, and was given 1 job discreption, keep us up, he kept us up! After the last game i felt we had turnt a corner, i felt we as fans were united, the club seemed united and i feel given a summer of pre-season Pearson would of done well for us! Say what you want about anti-Lowe but the feelings of unity i had last year have quickly dissapeared this year!

Don't want to get drawn into anti-pro Lowe but would just like to ask what money are you talking about?? lowe has never & will never put a single penny of his own money into the club!

The product which is SFC is sh1t, i don't blame anyone for not coming. I was there with my 2 season tickets on Tuesday, bored stiff! RL has closed my corner, sold an intire first team squad, plays the youth team yet still charges first team prices to get in! I really can't see me continuing with my 20 years of being a season ticket holder after this season!!

Thats what makes me sick, its NOT the fans fault we're in this mess, its Lowe's. he hired, fired, hired fired, hired ,fired etc not us fans. He had £55m per season yet left the club with only £2m in the bank, not us fans. Don't recall our attendances stopping the sale of Bridge, Richards, Beattie, Phillips, Crouch, Baird, Jones etc, don't mean to be argumentive just pointing out that Lowe has all ways sold, we could have 24k for the rest of the season and he'd still sell!

Again the point has been missed by you Southampton & Portsmuff are not in the same city, not even in the same post code. The cost of policing when Pompey were at "home" would be massive, could you imagine 30k skates coming to Southampton for pre-match drinks in town, fukcing hell it'd be mayhem. Gangs of Southampton youths bricking coaches, attacking fans walking from car [arks to the game. Saint's fans going to London meeting at central station for the 10.15 to Waterloo when the 9.45 from Portsmuff arrives, carnage mate, absolute carnage! Ps. as previously mentioned this idea could of worked 5 years ago @ Whitely, the Solent Stadium, half the Stadium red & white, half blue & ****e, massive banners at each end to remind away fans who's home!

Great post mate and your right about how a supporter should be, your also right about the dreams and hope of a supporter, unfortunately under this management set up, Lowe, Wilde, Cowan, Jan, Wotte and the kids I have no dreams of playing at Wembley, no hope of the play-offs and the most killing part for me is I have to passion or heart left!! I've had a season ticket for 20 years, i purchased 2 again this year, i've already missed Norwich, Bristol City & Wolves at home, AT HOME, just struggle to get motivated, i'm not at work counting down the hours till 15.00 Saturday! I really wish I was mate, wish I shared your hopes and dreams but for me i've been kicked in the teeth 1 no 10 to many times by Lowe et al!! Best wishes mate!

Again another fair point, i would just hi-light that 6 of the sides listed are or have been in a lower league than us because of all the manager merry go round. Another 9 are bankrolled by wealthy foriegners so the money they are blowing on said merry go round does not hurt the club itself.
