Sadly your right mate, the whole club is dead, there is no life left, he has strangled the club. His tactics have worked as he wished, he came in and closed the Itchen corner, not for the money as he's claimed (imo) but to silence the "lunatic fringe" or "vocal minority" (what a way to talk about your customers), it's worked! If anything closing the corner has cost the club money, i know at least 15 fans that don't go anymore because A. Lowe is back and B. because the corner has closed! I know what they're saying, i hate sitting where i am, it's dead!

Haven't read those post's, unreal, so the manager, players, directors, chairmen, coaches have no roll in this at all. The only money coming into the club is from us mug supporters yet its still our fault?? I was in the channon suite and the under 13 team were cleaning people shoes, clearing tables and rattling buckets to raise money for them to go to the Dallas tournament. Couldn't believe it, we were told these players are our future, so not only were we being asked to pay full price to watch the youth team play but we were also being asked to subsedise the future players for the plc to sell on!!!!

£27 mate, not a fortune is it? Also thought their effort was different class and warranted a pint!!! Also, i'd been in the Mike Channon suite so pretty well oiled ;-)

Went into the Chaple Arms after the game, bumped into 10-15 Dutch lads, came over just to watch Saints. I bought them all a beer and got chatting, they come form the same village as Jan and were going back home last night, i asked if they could take Jan home with them! Note; is it stll the fans fault for everything?? Had countless post's on here saying "how do you expect the players to perform in an empty stadium" & "fill the stadium and support the lads then you'll see a different team" well there were 27k fans yesterday, all supporting and backing the team, only problem was there was no different team! I was talking to Roger Johnson from radio solent and even he said "how can we continue to play 1 upfront, at home" Same tactics, same formation, same players, same result, same sh!t!!!
  13. Yes your 100% right us fans are totally to blame, i just wish us fans would f**k of and stop killing this club, we forced delgado to go awol, gave him a dodgy knee, forced Davies out of the club, ran wgs out the club, made fuller cr4p here, got the club relegated, losing the club money, we are mis-managing the club, we're driving the club into admin, jesus, are you lot for real??
  14. I still don't get this, Pearson had no resources, he tool over a team in free fall, devoid of all confidence, just been knocked out of the cup. In only 13 games with no pre-season he had to lift a battered squad, make loan signings with instant results, no bedding or setteiling in period for anyone. he promoted Gillet & Llanna to the first team & kept us up! Do you think, honestly, that JP would of kept us up last year?? I don't! Not an anti JP post, just don't get the thinking behind how what JP is achieving is better than what Pearson delivered!!
  15. i'm guessing they put a hold on new memebrs because they didn't want plastic Mancs buying them, There are thousands who wouldn't think twice about £50 to watch them!!
  16. is that 17-18k sold + season ticket holders???
  17. Why's that a problem, we're paying Lowe and Cowen! The only one not to take a penny out of SFC was Crouch!
  18. In your opinion it was crap. For me I looked at it this way, we had a manger who took over a side in free fall, a side devoid of any confidence, a side which had just been knocked out of the cup, a side which had been mis-managed by a drunk (rumour) for 18 months! Our new manager had no pre-season, had no settling in time (people keep saying we can't judge poratloo yet as he's only had 6 months yet you can judge Pearson on 3 months) the only players he could get in were loan signings who had to come in and do an instant job. Pearson's remit for last year was to keep us up, which he did. Pearson has a good record working with youth, he's worked with Newcastle youth (prem) West Brom youth (prem) England U21, he gave Gillet and Llanna a chance last year and i feel he could of blended the youth with some seasoned pro's this year to. Yes I am disappointed with things this year, surely as a fan we would all want to be in a better position than this, surely everyone would want to win more than 1 home game out of 11, surely everyone is leaving SMS disappointed??? Just because i knew it was going sh!t doesn't mean i can't be p!ssed of with things, does it? I feel if Lowe had of stuck with Pearson or appointed his own man, yet someone with English experience this team could be doing better, just give me 4-4-2 at home, please!
  19. I can only speak for myself (wish others would try this) but i for one had no thoughts of "just avoiding relegation" for this season under Pearson and Crouch. As i've said before, i felt there was a genuine feeling of unity and positivity for this year under pearson. I did however change my mind and was filled with negativity as soon as Lowe came back and appointed Portaloo!
  20. as far as i'm aware the corners are open, i'm in block 3, mates of mine are in block's 1 & 2 of the itchen, don't know about the other corners!!
  21. Agree 100% with you here. Not only that but through Rupert Lowe's statement regarding the financial accounts and how when he left there was £6.4m left in the bank. This £6.4m was our last parachute payment, so you take that away we were left with absolutely sweet fa! Would beg the question that if lowe is such a good business man and so good for our club, where has all the money gone? Would also suggest that things would of been much the same under Lowe as under wilde, sure he wouldn't of spent all the money (he had spent £2m on Rasiak, if he'd spent that much the previous yaer we'd of won promotion) but the parachute money would of run out, and with no outside investment we'd still be facing admin etc. IMO
  22. Southampton is no different to any other club, the boardroom and the team are linked, one has a massive bearing on the other. The route that our board has choosen take is not working, that makes it very difficult to support, imo!
  23. I hope your attatchment is flexible as come January most of our loan players will go back & atleast 2 players will be sold!
  24. I've still got 2 season tickets but i would consider myself being more of a gimp than the stayaways! I'm hating this season, I sit there bored stiff. Lowe has killed our club, we have no manager, no team, no corners, he's turnt the whole club into a "plastic club" it's dead! Stayaways, for what it's worth your more than welcome, if nothing else its forced Lowe into re-opening the Itchen corner so for me, and maybe for only the one game, i will enjoy a decent football atmosphere!!!
  25. Good positive post, I will be there Saturday but I lost the faith months ago, sorry!
