  1. fair and reasoned reply mate, but it is all about opinions and ours differ i'm afraid. I'm not just criticising Lowe and JP for the sake of it, i just don't believe in their tactics, even at the end of you post your criticising their transfer policy! Sorry I just don't see what they are doing right! Its all well and good saying Dyer is poor, but again I'd say that Lowe & JP were WRONG for signing him, not forgetting if he See's out his contract there will probably be no compensation as Dyer would be over the threshold age!!
  2. Mr. Lowe only had the pipes to take the heating/suction laid when the stadium was built, didn't see the point in spending the extra to have it connected!
  3. Exactly my friend, more to the point he had a choice of either staying with us and suffer an almost certain second relegation in a row or join a team with a bit of ambition going the right way!
  4. why not, either he's leaving us to link up again with his ex-boss and be closer to the London area or he's not, you can't have it both ways mooooooooosh! Lowe out!!!!
  5. exactly http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=7454
  6. i think this post should be highlighted, turned in bold type, font enlarged and sent to every and anyone that cares about Saints as a reason to remove JP from his post! As we're tight for money it'd pay to order a 5 seater cab and load it with lowe, Wilde, Wotte and Cowen too!
  7. To be fair just push Smith on to the inside and thats end of his game. Watched him against Reading, playing down the right, being left footed he had to keep cutting back in, if we're going to play him, play him on the left. Wouldn't it be lovely to see a player get to the bye-line and cut it back!
  8. just playing devils advocate here, so would it still be a no "fecking brainer" if were currently sitting 7 points clear at the top of the league? After all, watford would still be managed by his ex-boss and he'd be back in the London area!!
  9. My point is its not Preston, Burnley. Yes it would be a pain but a manageable pain. They don't train every day, when the do they start at 10 and are finished @ 2 so he could commute. Home and away games alternate, so away games he could meet them at the team hotel, home games stay over on the Friday night! All do-able imo without up-rooting his family, I go to Cardiff, Reading, Barry, Manchester to work, put in an 8 hour day then drive home, my kids are still in school!
  10. I'd say Nottingham was just up the road!

    Wotton

So we were 3-0 down at half time, Wotton let the team have both barrells and we went on to lose 3-2, maybe he should do every half time chat!!!

quite frankly no, it does not help. I was at the Reading game to (have 2 season tickets) and I also enjoyed the game, but for some to say "this is the best football I've seen for years" is, imo, wrong! Yes we played well, but 1 game does not make a season! I have no faith in the board and even less faith in JP. Defeat after defeat yet no tactical change. Couldn't garuntee Pearce a starting line up yet allows Cork to leave, I realise he had no power in holding Cork, but you would of thought some would of checked with Chelsea and Cork to make sure he/they wanted him to stay! we let all our " high earnering strikers" leave and sign, Gasmi, Schneriden, wotton, pekhart, Forecast, Robertson, pulis where we could of done without all of these, saved the wages, signing on fee's and kept John/Saga! I've had enough mate, really questioning my support!!!
  13. Again, why would Kelvin need to unsettle his family, Plymouth is only down the road ??

it's just bullsh!t mate, i've had enough of the hole saga to be honest, can't make up my mind wither to go tomorrow, or again to be honest! I get no enjoyment from going anymore, people keep saying this is the best football we've played for years, where?? Surely Wolves away, Shef utd home, Derby away, Brum away etc were all better games that what we've seen this year?? It's one thing saying its nice to see a team full of players that want to play for us but completely another thing to expect ant results. look back at Bret Ormeroid and James Beattie for example, Bret would give blood and run himself into the ground but if you wanted a goal, an end result it be Beattie you'd have your money on!

So in other words another great Lowe/Poortaloo/Woote signing then??? Funny who Wotte made this signing and said we were signing a "strong character, a leader of and on the pitch, a responsible man" yet when he showed a bit of leadership (rumour) and tried to motivate the team in the tunnle and inject some passion he's wrong!!!! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=10234
  16. Hope your right but, would he really need to uproot his family to move to Plymouth?? There's all ways to force players out, all Lowe has to do is explain that if he doesn't play ball, he'll be in the reserves!!
  17. Exactly my point, why bother signing him in the first place, we've probably lost more than we'll ever get for him already!
  18. A real shame, final nail in the coffin more like, also the last straw for me. On the plus point would mean there'd be a couple of tickets up for grabs for the Man Utd game!
  19. Thats not the question, the question is why sign him if he's so sh!te? When we signed him he'd of got a signing on fee, we'd of paid his wages up to the point of him joining Shef Utd and probably a % of his wages whilst there. In short would it not of been more cost effective for us just to let him leave at the end of last season, and take any compensation offered from the tribunal??
  20. seems like good business?? We own a player we don't play, he plays for our opponents while we still pay a % of his wages, i'd also guess we paid him some sort of signing on fee as well as its the norm. I think we'd of been better of taking the 250k!
  21. Please explain how it's Crouch's fault, please???? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/search/?mode=movenav&page_id=10350 Rupert negotiated Dyer's contract, so one would guess that it was negotiated on our new financial terms and limitations, with this being the case how come we're signing a player Millwall (Div 2) don't want yet loaning out Dyer????
  22. i can't name names but all Lowe is is a CeO, no different than thousands of other CeO's up and down the country, are you really saying that Rupert Lowe is the only person in the country that can run SFC???
  23. Agree, to me football is pretty basic, 4-4-2 with right footed players on the right, left footed on the left strikers up front and defenders at the back. get your wide players to the BYE LINE and cross to the on-coming strikers!
  24. I've already had a couple of pm's offering to donate £25 towards a fly by!! Really think we'd be better of using a spit fire and doing a propper fly by!
  25. And as for you Mr. Carmen.....................time to re-invent STHU i think??
