  1. To be honest mate, the fan division looked quite a big issue against Doncaster!
  2. Can you toast jelly??????????????? Your probably right mate, but what else can we do to make our point. look at the oil refinery lads now, the french workers etc they are frustrated at the running of thier country/company and feel the same. If nothing else the marches, pickets from all party's have brought the situation we all find ourselves in to the forefront of peoples (maybe even Mr. Barclays) minds! Note: i'm only comparing the methods of protest, I'm not for 1 minute saying our plights are the same!
  3. Based on what?? Crouch loaned out rasiak and rudi last year and said (backed up by Lowe) that he'd already agreed to close the corners so you can clearly see he was prepared to make unpopular decisions. I also believe we'd be higher up the table under Pearson which, imo would put an extra 5k on the gate averaging our attendance @ 21k, meaning an extra £4m coming in per season. Surely that would keep the wolf from the door?? He had an agreement with the bank and note holder for his plan so would of been under exactly the same cost cutting instruction as Low from the bank. The only difference is I believe Peasron would od made a better fist of things, I don't think he'd of signed 15 players that have made very little impact on the side. With a bit of common sense and now how we could be comfortably mid-table, if we'd only made 5 of those signings we could have kept Saga, John or Rasiak, where would be now with those goals?
  4. You didn't and don't rate Pearson, who had a higher win ratio than Portaloo with no pre-season, no settling in period just straight in at the deep end, the same Pearson who sits 10 points clear at the top of his table. What would he have to do for you to rate him??
  5. I wasn't impressed with NP's appointment to be honest, I thought here we go again, but to be fair to him he won me over. I'll give Wotte the same support, I haven't knocked him as a manager, haven't knocked his tactics or team selection, all I'm saying is if doesn't know the facts or history of the club maybe he should show a bit of diplomacy and make no comment, or if he feels he must make a statement because he's been forced into a corner by a reporter, just say "I am here for the football, I am the manager of the football club, I'll leave all the politics to others!" just a thought! Ps. I think the reason people aren't overly impressed with Wotte is because he was part of the new "revolutionary coaching set up" where it was all supposed to be "seamless with each coach taking a combined responsibility" yet with in days he's slagging of jp, saying we're to predictable then changing to a 4-4-2 system we'd been told for best part of a year "our boys can only play this system, they haven't trained any other way" with regards to the 4-1-3-1-1 or whatever it was!
  6. Yet you still read it and reply??? Ps. not outraged, just offended!
  7. FFS this is a Southampton FC fans forum, its here to discus everything Saints. You may not give a fvck (gave enough fvck to post) what the manager, players or chairman says but i do, if you don't care why bother posting and making the topic larger, your helping to create the beast you "don't give a fvck" about"
  8. As has been posted a million times already, the support for both team and manager this season has been excellent, excellent support but only 1 win. All ways the fans fault isn't it, anyone actually realise we're the poor mugs paying to be blamed? We can't criticise lowe, jp or Wotte as it might create a negative atmosphere, all these men are being paid to perform as of yet none have, but us paying customers are in the wrong for asking for more!
  9. Again, please explain what he said then because he 100% said "these people are easy to judge", it's one thing arguing about things but when its on national tv......................oh bullox, you win, i missed heard him when he said "to easy to judge" he was talking about Newcastle fans and their treatment of Mike Ashley, quite right, I stand corrected, feel such a fool. Note to self "must not take the first meaning of a statement, must look for different meanings"
  10. Wotte didn't say fans were "to easy to judge" are you sure you watched the championship and not that inferior BBC 1 substitute match of the day?? Because in the championship he definitely said we were "easy to judge" According to Lowe he was part of the dream team, he and the other 3 coaches were ALL responsible for the team, funny how that's all now forgotten, all Jp's fault!!
  11. I'm not posting it again mate, i found his comment about fans being quick to judge offensive, simple as that!
  12. Its a choice though mate isn't it, I don't have to go to the games, I don't have to support the set up, as it stands i'll be very surprised if i re-new my season ticket!
  13. Can only comment on what i know and what people I know have said. Under Crouch there did seem to be a unity, a sense of togiverness, people thought we were finally moving in the right direction. We had a good manager, a united fan base a purpose, a direction. All in my opinion obviously, others may of seen it another way!
  14. Lapping what up??? The fans are not brining the protests into the ground, the support has been great inside the stadium.
  15. Now thats someone I would not knock this season, he's been great. I suppose Swansea could say they'd of won if Monk didn't pass to Saga. :-)
  16. Maybe we could re-float http://www.sthu.co.uk
  17. The problem is though mate there will never be unity under Lowe. You are right, he doesn't know the history which is why he shouldn't comment on it!
  18. Its all about opinions mate, I found his statement offensive. To me it shows a complete lack of knowledge about SFC and its fans, imo
  19. Ok, so who is he saying we are to easy to Judge? Jan? Had full support from the fans at the games Players? as above He is right Lowe was not here last year, no protests last year either was there!
  20. A bit of support? Not one anti Lowe song at yesterdays game, full backing from all there. Nothing was lost in translation mate, he said the fans are to easy to judge. Its got nothing to do with last year, its about here and now, its about who's running our club, its about Lowe not learning from the past!
  21. He said that rupert was not here last year and saints only stayed up on the last day, and we are quick to judge this year. Basically saying that we are no worse of this year than last, and after only 8 months in charge us fans are quick to judge Lowe. If he was not refering to Lowe why start by saying "Rupert was not eveu here last year", as i've said before i couldn't see any others clubs fans being as tolerant as we've been. Could you see Leeds fans welcoming Peter Ridsdale back?? Be interesting to see what sort of reception Mike Ashley gets this afternoon, a man thats sunk over £140m of his own money in the club!
  22. I don't need anyone to w@nk me of, ask anyone who knows me and they'll you i'm a w@nker :-) It's not about people being nice or pally its about him saying we are to quick to judge. The support at the ground has been excellent, do you know of any other club where its fans would tolerate this home form for this long? We have a divisive chairman, fan base is split, this feeling has been here for years, we're not quick to judge!
  23. Wotte's comments were aimed at the protesters, he was talking about the stance held towards Lowe. That is what I have issue with, fans aren't p1ssed because of the last 8 months, this feeling towards Lowe is years old. Personally I feel that far from being "easy to judge" us fans have been remarkably tolerant and supportive of the new set up!
  24. I still dont get how he's been mis-quoted are lost in translation "those paople are easy to judge" pretty balck and white to me mate!
  25. Tell you what John, when i get a job in Holland wrking for a Dutch employer needing to talk to Dutch media then I'll worry about that. He didn't seem to be confused to me, he spoke excellent english and to me meant and knew what he was saying!
