  1. I completely understand your point David but the circumstances are different. We have a chairman that completely divides the whole club, the manager may have been given more time if he wasn't part of the chairmans master plan that cost us the services of Pearson! Its the chairman not the manager killing this club! Ps. could you see lowe signing any one of the legends you've listed??
  2. 1. I don't want to prove anyone wrong, i believe there is enough room for both protests. The march to the ground doesn't really appeal to me on a purely selfish point of view, the pub, and i drink with a lot of like minded lads! Also, no I don't think the numbers will be the same, some fans want Lowe out but would never dream of boycotting. I think if the second march had as many as 50% the first march it would be a good turn out! 2 . Is it in the clubs best interest to sack JP, put Hockaday and Webster on gardening leave having to pay them all compensation/wages. Sign Gasmi, Pulis, Forecast, Pekhart, Schneriden, Wotton, Robertson etc when we're supposedly on the brink? Make no mistake here mate, if the club is relegated and or enters administration the blame will be squarely and holely lie at the feet of Lowe & Wilde!
  3. Will it be more effective though Mr. X?? If the numbers were the same for both protests then marching away from the ground would be much more effective. 1000 fans marching away would potentially cost the club around £30k, marching to the ground costs the club nothing, they don't see the march as the curtains are shut, they don't hear it because the protest stops outside! If your saying there will be more marching to the ground then yes, your probably right, if your saying as idea's it will be more effective then no, your most definitely wrong!
  4. I'm up for the protest Stu, count me in!
  5. is there any championship club, hang on even premiership club (outside the top 6) that are averaging capacity crowds?? Get over it, stop blaming the fans, no other entertainment business would expect to sell out when offering an inferior product. As I've said before, you wouldn't expect to pay £27 to watch a school nativity play when you payed the same price to watch Miss Saigon @ The Mayflower!
  6. Exactly right mate, the people slagging of Crouch for not signing him on a long term contract are the same ones who'd be slagging him of should we of been relegated and be stuck with a manager on championship wages. IMO Crouch got it bang on, he got compensation from the Jocks, realised hie appointment of Dodd and Gorman were no working and sacked them, appointed Pearson and told him keep us up and we'll look at the contract in the summer, good business!
  7. Maybe Pearson only wanted a rolling 1 year contract? It's not the first time a rolling contract has been given to one of our managers, wasn't a favourite of Lowe? Wasn't Sturrock on one?
  8. Rupert, your a joke. Try reading this http://thinkexist.com/quotes/rupert_lowe/ its pathetic just like your ramblings!
  9. As a business man that's earned his fortune the hard way, dealing with bankers, deadlines, quoting, cutting costs, having to lay people of, yes, i do believe for the good of the club he would of done so. He's a man that lives in the real world, dealing with all the employee issue's we all do, he hasn't spent 12 years in the fantasy land which is football, especially the years spent in the Premiership, money and ego growing everywhere! As a business man having to make decisions that effect real people with real jobs, real mortgages on a day to day bases there's no comparison between the 2, Crouch wins every time!
  10. If this is going to work this needs to be posted everywhere, it needs all saints forums to be posted, the echo, radio Hampshire, radio solent. Stu, you need to be clear and concise, out line exactly what time we're meeting and where, what the route is and what the venue is. You may need to contact the landlord of the pub etc. Maximum exposure and organisation. If you need help just ask mate!
  11. Leaflet distribution would work but not for the Preston game as there is no other game between now and then. Could maybe get some printed up advertising http://www.thesaintsgomarchingout.co.uk telling fans to check that site for up and coming protests???
  12. The thing I found most interesting Was Mrs. Corbett exposing Lowe's excuse for not signing Pearson was because we couldn't afford it. She revealed that Pearson had signed a contract worth £100k a year less than the contract that lowe had given Burley! It never added up that JP, Wotte, Gore & Walls could be on less than Pearson!
  13. Come on Nick, you know i'm talking about Lowe following the cost cutting plan already drawn up by Crouch. The management and team policy is all lowe's doing though!
  14. Not sure who I'd **** first, Lowe or Westwood....................yes i do Lowe, after I'd kicked the fvck out of that retard. Note, no offence meant to any retards!
  15. I understand you sentiments mate regarding the cost cutting and your connection with said cuts and Lowe, but it's already been proved that he is working to Crouch's plan. Lowe has stated that the corners were already due to shut before he came, Crouch had loaned out our 2 highest earners last season so we can see he'd of taken the tough decisions needed. The big differences i feel to then and now is the fan base was pretty united, we had a chairman that believed in his manager and was prepared to let him get on with his job and back him. Um- pahars did some excellent research and quoted Pearson saying how much he saw the academy as an asset to any forward thinking club, he's showing now he can blend academy, loanees and pro's @ Leicester. imo last year we had the management, team & unity to take us forward, now all we have is despair!
  16. He's got a very feminine back, all the curves, bet he looks great on a Sunday ;-)
  17. Agree with you scummy, for my money a season ticket is a season ticket. Doesn't matter if you re-new one or your a first time buyer, the club should be doing everything it can to attract new and old supporters! Note: my nipper said he'd rather go on the march instead of the game against Preston, that's could be 2 fewer without even knowing next years prices!
  18. Not getting into compliments etc with you, your a Luvvie, you know it and i know it :-) I thought Rudi played as an attacking midfielder for Hearts, thought that's why he was given the much coveted No. 7 shirt??? Ps. fancy coming on the March then Nick? I fancy the one leaving the stadium and heading to the pub, i would of walked out last night but I took my 8 year old daughter, she loves Saints (poor naive fool) but doesn't get to go often because of her dancing competitions!
  19. Stu & Co. With a little bit of simple planning this thing could really take of. Me and my mates find it very difficult to leave the pub and would have to be almost physically forced out to join a March @ 13.15 at the Bargate. Your idea on the other hand would have a mass appeal to supporters/drinkers like me. I could still have a couple of pints then walk down to the Stadium @ 14.30, join you all then March back to an agreed venue. I do feel there is enough room for both marches on the same day though. It just needs a little communication between both organisers, i personally think doing both would appeal to a much broader fan base!
  20. Agree totally Nick, to be honest after all trumpeting from Burley et al about Rudi coming i was pretty excited, has never delivered really. Saying that I still think I'd of started him last night pushing surman further forward, could formed thier own Marsden and Bridge duet!
  21. Hatch, are you a lady????
  22. Wotte to Rudi " i promised you a move and i will honour that promise, Hertha came in to late for the deal to be signed in time. Now is your shop window Rudi, I have faith in you, go out there and play for a move, show the world what you can do" It would make me think!!
  23. It probably wont be as successful as the first march but the difference, which to my thinking is huge, fans will not marching to the ground and paying to enter, they will be keeping thier money (except us season ticket holders, I'm happy to loose £25 for the course) and spending it elsewhere. For me this is the whole point of this protest, a clear statement to the board & Barclays "we are not prepared to financially back this board anymore" all in my opinion of course!
  24. Does any one know the score on a 3 year or lifetime ticket should we enter administration?? Saying that even a normal season ticket, what happens if I re-new my 2 in march and the club enters admin in October, do I loose my money???
