So what, Crouch came out and stated that he'd be prepared to pay £2m if matched by the other 2. I don't see the problem with that, to me it shows that one was prepared to save the club while the other 2 were quite happy to see it rot! There has been absolutely nothing by means of information coming out of the club since Lowe and Wilde returned. I for 1 am gratefull to Crouch, not just for putting his own money in but for also letting us know, to an extent, whats been going on there. All we've had from the club is the 'fans parliment' what a joke, Wilde was peddling this spin whilst knowing there was a very real chance there'd be no club by the end of the season, let alone a 'fans parliment' I agree all have made mistakes, thats human nature, i've employed people then a month down the line thought 'sh!t, how do i move this clown on'! The secret is learning, in my opinion Crouch made a mistake in giving Dodd and Gorman the job but rectified it and appointed Pearson. Would he of made future managerial mistakes? Don't know! One thing we do know is Lowe never learns, Gray, Sturrock, Wigley, Redknapp, Jan, Wotte etc All in my opinion, but I think its harsh to slag of Crouch for his mistake when, at the very least, he saw it, put it right!

Mr. lowe was invited to take part in various local interviews inc The Echo, South Today, Meridian, Radio Hampshire over the last 10 months but refused all invites, unless he could have all questions in writting and the interview be recorded, not live! My pointg being he could of come out at anytime and given his side of the story. I'd love to know why he sanctioned the purchases of Pulis, Schneriden, Gasmi, Pekhart, Forecast, Smith, Molyneux, Wotton, Robertson etc, would also be interested in knowing why he again sanctioned the first team staying the weekend in a hotel for both the Palace and Reading game when its an hours drive to both. Come Rupert, lets hear your side!

Nick in answer to your points mate - A. Pearson came into a club with something like 13 games left, the team had just been knocked out of the cup to league 1 Bristol, we were a club in free fall. In my opinion given a full pre-season he'd of done a whole lot better than Jan. These are not idiots we are talking about, Crouch is a very succesful business man, he knows who to cut his cloth as the poor men and women at LPE will testify having had to take reduncy. Pearson spoke to his entire squad when he took over, he told them there would be no time for the youth at the time because of the seriousness of the situation, but their time would come. (not rumour, i know 3 of the reserves) B. see answer for A, given a full pre-season i honestly do believe we'd be better of than under Jan. C. see answer A & B D. I agree about Lawrie, i know he's taken money in the past, but, and i do believe its a big but, I also feel given the seriousness of our problems niether he or Crouch would of taken anything from the club! The bottom line is though Nick, Lowe's was not the only route we could have taken, I honestly believe that if we'd stuck with Pearson and Crouch we'd be in a much better posistion on and of the pitch!
-
Think the question's here are though Nick, A. do you believe we'd be in the bottom 3 under Crouch, Lawrie and Pearson? B. do you believe we'd be loosing at home to teams like Doncaster, Forrest, Charlton under Pearson? C. do you believe we'd be averaging crowds of 17k under Crouch, Lawrie and Pearson? D. do you believe Crouch & Lawrie would of taken money out of the club like Lowe and Cowen? If like me you answer 'no' to these questions then why do you think the bank would of withdrew its funding? Surely with the increased revenue from gate reciepts due to better football, better league standing and no Lowe the bank would of been happy, we'd of been within our agreed overdraft and everyones happy, no??
-
Why???? Mr. Lowe has only copied Mr. Crouch's blueprint for cost cutting. Mr. Crouch ahd loaned out our high earning players, he'd put the corner closures in place and had agreed the statergy with the bank. Please, please, please explain why we'd already be in admin under Crouch?

As I said, felt positive until Lowe came back!

I really don't give a sh1t anymore, I love SFC but couldn't give a t0ss anymore for SFC PLC, Lowe and Co. is welcome to it! The end of last season i really felt positive, but Lowe comes back. sacks (releases) Pearson and starts his 'Rupert knows better than everyone else' experiment and any hope quickly disappears! Couldn't afford Pearson but can afford Jan, Wotte, Gore, Webber, Hockaday and relegation, will Lowe say he got it wrong, will he fook!

That was my thinking mate, but with only 5 reply's maybe not worth the hassle in setting up!!!!!
-
People keep saying creating a supportive atmosphere will help the team, 1 home win in 16 is ****e, the fans have been behind the team for every game except Doncaster, even that saw Saints score ONCE the trouble started!!!

Spot on mooooosh

As a club no, as a fanbase yes. Still can't remember the protests being against Askham though? Surely you can't say the club was being run then the same as it is now. I realise Askham is a proper Budgie but the club was not split like it is now, sure there was a clash regarding the manager but that happens up and down the country, from our point of view Branfoot was a ****, from the boards point of view he kept us up for 3 years and took us to Wembley.
-
I was there for the Branfoot era mate, football was ****e and I wanted him out the same as everyone else, but we didn't go down though did we, in fact as much as hate to say it I remember going to Wembley under Branfoot and he kept us up for 3 years! Branfoot Wigley Gray Redknapp = All pretty **** Jan Wotte SCW
-
Its different now though mate isn't it, before hand at the dell we were all in it together. The club was united all pushing together, fighting against the odds to prove that this small club on the south coast could defy everything and stay up! Now we are a huge club, sat second from bottom of the league, loosing to Doncaster! We have a chairman that is not willing to listen to anyone, repeats mistake after mistake, has no empathy with his customers, its not our club anymore, welcome to SFC PLC

There are plenty of protest ideas doing the circuit at the minute, and to be honest I think there is room for all the protests. The march will bring good coverage and unity to the fan base and the boycott will make the bank and board take notice. I think the majority of fans would agree that the only way we can affect change is to threaten to withdraw our support and not purchase our season tickets, I really feel this the only option left to us. A few years ago me and 2 friends set up http://www.sthu.co.uk , my question to all like minded fans is do you think we should re-launch said organisation. This time I'd suggest that instead of filling in the protest forms that we turn the guest book into an online petition. Like minded fans that are refusing to re-new season tickets and or memberships (even fans that stopped coming last year because Lowe came back would be welcome) until there's a change in the boardroom, can leave their name, membership no. and reason for not re-newing on the petition. We could then forward the completed petition to the club, the echo and Barclay's. I just think that if we did this together, as a united front we'd be much more powerful, people would have to take notice, they couldn't just brush it under the carpet, no lame pr spin like "the attendance was low because of the weather" its your call people, if you all feel a relaunch would be beneficial we'll sort it! Combine all the protests to show a unites force. Lowe out. Saints Forever! Note. before people jump on me saying "united front, what right do you have to talk for me?" I'm not saying the entire fan base would be united, what I'm saying is it'd be better for everyone that's saying that they will not re-new until there's change to say it under one umbrella, not individually.

Can we use season ticket renewals to oust Lowe?

Poll: Will y0u attend next season if lowe and wilde are still here?
St. Jason replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
I will probably still go but I'll pick and choose but definitely will not renew my 2 season tickets, not even if they slash the prices! I will renew both tickets if Lowe & Wilde were to sell up and leave, not sure I'd renew if they simply left as they could use their shares to come back, out and out for good! -
I don't fear for his safety, infact i hope someone does to him what he's done to our great club! SAINTS FOREVER!!
-
everyone has accepted we are in league one next season
St. Jason replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Are you seriously saying its us, the fans fault we are going down?? It hasn't got anything to do with Lowe, Wilde, Jan, Wotte or the players? So what your saying is that as paying customers who are paying full price to watch a team we could seen for nothing last year its our fault, unreal! Note- I've only seen in fighting at 1 game which was after we'd just been beat by Doncaster, thats right ******* DONCASTER! the other 16 games the fans have been right behind the team, still only 1 win though! -
I know one of Saints scouts and he was telling me how Saints actually employ the Brazilian academy for extra training sessions, he couldn't believe it, nor can I, doesn't say much for our coaching set up does it!
-
But he wont be though Minsk will he. Come on, 24 8 non-league teams but hay he'll be cheap so right up Lowes street!
-
I'm a roofer, who'd of ever thought I'd pick up business here, **** team, **** management, great job centre!
-
Do we need to know anymore, surely that's enough isn't it? Good to see that all the money spent on scw wasn't wasted, we're employing the Dutch coach he wanted, we're using the youth like he wanted, we are actually paying Hoddle and Clifford to bring thier academy's to help us train, couldn't afford pearson though, good call Rupert!
