I don't mean to be augmentative, but if Marcus and Nicola already had a plan B I would personally be questioning their ability to run the club. They are 3 months into a 5 year plan to put this in perspective that's 8 games out of 230. Everyone needs to take a reality check, give the club a chance. Pardew is a seasoned accomplished manager, things will turn, nobody were expecting anything other than a relegation scrap this year!!!!!! Come on people, on wards and up wards ay?? COYR

Perspective here please lads, Matt (allegedly) placed a bet on the timing of the first thrown in, yes throw in, hardly match fixing is it???? JB, I remember the photo's of the cup final well, the contorted face of the Spurs fan attacking the poor woman lives on......what a hard man!!!!
-
So that the yard stick from now on is it, 10 games then out???? ******* hell mate, we are at our lowest ever eb, the club has just come out of Admin, we lost an entire pre-season, we've got a new owner, new manager, new players, time my friend is what is needed! I feel to an extent Pard's is right to blame his tools, come on, we had 16 corners at an away game Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know if anyone has posted this already, made me smile, "have you seen Fratton Park" :-) http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/524068/sol-campbell.html

Of course there is a place for 4-5-1 under Pardew. The big deference between Pards, Portaloo and Wotte is that Pard's has the ability, nouse, experience to change things around when needed. What was our final formation Saturday when he sent Trottman up front, 3-4-1-2????

Accuracy doesn't really come into mate, just what sounds good and works mate. He stands at six foot 3 Rickie - Rickie He'll take us back to the Premier League Rickie - Rickie He gets the ball, he takes the p1ss He wears the shirt of Matt Le Tiss RICKIE LAMBERT, SOUTHAMPTON'S GOAL MACHINE NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA RICKIE - RICKIE NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA RICKIE - RICKIE He gets the ball he takes the pi1ss He wears the shirt of Matt Le Tiss RICKIE LAMBERT, SOUTHAMPTON'S GOAL MACHINE After all, we still sing "we're by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen" I love the Super Saints but we're by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen ;-)

Obviously you are right mate, this is how football should be, but for some reason it isn't and never will be and i have no answer to why. I went to Lords for the C&G final, sat next to a Skate and friendly chatted away all day. Put me @ a Saints game and I'm a completely different animal, aggressive, territorial, blindly loyal, passionate, "this is my club, my city" mentality??????? COYR

Exactly right S O G, you don't get many of the top managers slating their own players. Look at the effect Redknapp's public slating of Bent had??? No effect, the player was demoralised, swiftly left the club and has now scored 6 in 7 for his new club!!!

Maybe the players AP inherited were simply not good enough, you can train hard, run yourself into the ground and sweat blood but your not going to turn Pulis into Gerrard. All I'm saying is, we need to give AP time to id the players he wants, to build the team as he see's fit. All the signings he's made have done well imo, Jahdi, Hammond, Trotman, Lambert Harding have all impressed me. We went to Carlisle Saturday, went 1-0 down then scored in the 95th min, thats a response we haven't had from players for years, if we'd had players like that 5 years ago we may of never been relegated from the Prem,. Boro, Everton, Villa, all we needed was players who could play to the last whistle.

To be honest I still think its still a little early to judge him, even after the next 2 games. I Think we need to keep things in perspective, he had no pre-season, he's still putting HIS team together. Only just got the dominant centre back he's been after. Give him time, i have absolute faith in him. He's impressed me at the fans forum, he seem's to have a vision for the future, the futures bright, the futures red and white ;-)
-
100% agree with you mate, forget about the all politics bullsh1t and just concentrate about the football and what he actually brought to the club, after all thats what we are, football fans! The Lawrey Mc Menemy (sp?) stand, yes, why not! Cup finals, 2nd place, europe, FA cup winners, couldn't agree more Mr. Duck, lets speak to the club and get the Kingsland name changed.

Do you really believe that post mate?? Do you really believe that all the coaches just pander to our pampered players?? I'm, pretty sure that seeing as it is Pardew's job on the line that if a player is not performing he will be told exactly that. I run my own company and I'd never publicly slam a employee, if he's under performing he comes to to my office and is told directly what my problem is, what I expect from him and what improvements he needs to make to perform to the standard I require. Publicly slating people undermines everything, all obviously in my own opinion mate :-)
-
I like AP's press conferences and to be honest i don't think I'd like him to come out and say "Melis missed an absolute sitter". It's a team game, we win as a team and loose as a team (or if your saints Draw as a team) I don't think it does any good publicly slating anyone. I feel he does say we under performing, he often says we are lacking pace and width, he has also stated publicly that we weren't strong at the back which his has now strengthened! COYR

Benali Bogs Dodd's deli Turners Turnstile Claus's concourse :-)
-
Why only Ted???? Surely as listed above, Le Tiss, Channon and Payne also merit a mention???
-
I agree mate, the 'Ted Bates' stand instead of the Itchen. Don't think you'd get many people argue if a stand was named after Matt Le Tiss or Channon either though??
-
Fair comment mate, still feel it would add more character to the stadium if we had, Matt Le Tissier, Payne, Channon and Stokes as opposed to what we have?? mind you knowing how some people are on here we'd have arguments about who goes where and who should be honoured (not you nick) maybe stay as we are!!!!
-
Could have orange seats http://www.brendanloy.com/blog/images/neyland-orange.jpg
-
Surely such a legend, England and the Mighty Red & White should be honoured by us?? Ipswich today open the "Sir Bobby Robson" stand...........The kingsland Stand or The Alan Ball stand???? In fact why not go the whole hog, Matt Le Tissier (Itchen) Bobby Stokes (Chapel) Alan Ball (Kingsland) Terry Paine (Northam) Kill 2 birds in with one stone for the people who hate the "we're the Northam, we're the Northam" chant, "we're the Matthew Le Tissier over here" is a bit of a mouthfull :-) Simple's!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Just common sense really mate, keeping away fans in the concourse for 10 mins after the game reduces the chance of conflict massively. You are right though, if people want trouble they'll find, locking them in does mean innocent fans with no interest of trouble don't get caught up around Britannia road coaches!
-
Look mate, I agree lets let sleeping dogs lie but lets be honest, the reason attendances are up IS because Lowe & Co have gone. The attendances went immediately he left last season, after every season since and including relegation the attendances have dropped, apart from this year. Us fans can see the old regime have gone and are never to return, we can see a future, which the majority couldn't see under Lowe. Yes let sleeping dog's lie, but don't deny the facts. Onwards & upwards.COYR

I sent an e-mail to Luker ref: locking them in for 10 mins, he said it was against their human rights!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I see, but we'd get a grant by the sounds of it, win win situation!!!
-
Don't see why it'd need to be increased mate, we've held qualifiers here and I'm sure the sh1te down the road we're only looking to build a 35-37k stadium???
-
Hardly hidden away matey, there's a good few thousand that go over the bridge every game, not only that but the fans crossing are from every stand and not just the one stand if it had been put in a concourse!!!! We were all impressed with it and knew who he was, also walked through the parks before the game on the way down from The Bedfords for a change, really impressed, clean, neat and blooming!!!
