  1. As Jamie Oliver would say 'I'm with you brother'! Why he calls everyone 'brother' is beyond me, but there you go, brother!
  2. We can argue all day splitting hairs and still get nowhere, from my point of view as a supporter I should contact the 'The Head of Supporter Services' as such and with it being a ticket inquiry I've sent an e-mail to both the ticket office and the 'Head of Customer Services'. If you have Mr. Oldknow and or Mr. Cortesse's e-mail address I'll happily send them one as well? E-mail sent :- Dear Sir's, I've read with dismay your intention to restrict the Itchen North stand to season ticket holders only. I feel extremely let down and alienated by this decision. I own 2 no. season tickets, 1 for me and one for my son. Evening games I like to take my 8 year old daughter as I can't on Saturdays as she dances. With your new policy it means I can no longer take her,my wife, nephew or niece as they are only occasional fans. Yet again I'm left here thinking 'am I really respected or wanted as a fan'? So by one swift flick of a pen you have lost 4 occasional paying customers, crazy! Jason

  4. You joke about Ethel but her contribution is massive, Rickie is extremely particular, he likes the kettle boiled but not fully boiled, he like a tea bag in his mug and not in a pot, he like 2.7 spoons of sugar and it must be stirred to the left with only 4.8 rotations!!!
  5. Note- I see that on Tuesday the club now want us to sit in the Itchen, couldn't make it up could you!!
  6. Yes, the club do have my address, phone number and e-mail address!!!!!! I thought David Luker was head of supporters services so it would surely make sense, as a supporter, with a supporter related issue to contact the head of supporter services?? If not, what's to point in having a 'Head of Supporter Services'???
  7. Who knows and frankly, who cares?? This is about OUR club, OUR fans. Why do we all ways care about the away fans, away teams?? Just think about it for a minute, Itchen North full of away fans @ Christmas, a few building Co's take their lads to St. Mary's for the 'company Christmas do', it'd be mayhem, absolute mayhem!! If, and this is a massive if, the club are intending to move the away fans then move them to the family stand. It's already segregated, it has its own bar and catering, away coaches can be parked in the industrial estate and the stewards can close that corner of the car park without affecting home fans like they do by closing the north car park. There would be no more violence up Britannia Road as both sets of fans converge by the steps!
  8. Why should we consult with Lucker, he hasn't given us any respect by consulting with us, the paying customer. He's just closed the opportunity of purchasing tickets for our guests in this corner!!
  9. Hamster, how can they possibly move the away fans to the Itchen North with the placing of the executive boxes right behind the away fans?? What about when we get a big cup game, do we move the directors so the away team can have their full 15% quota, or do move the away fans back to the Northam meaning us HOME fans will be moved again???
  10. A couple of points my friend :- 1. the club are not making more seats available for home fans in the Northam, they are re branding the Kingsland North the 'extended northam' 2. The club will carry on giving the away fans their full quota of seats in the Northam so will no be 'put out of the way' 3. We are only put in the drafty corner at Elland road because our support at Elland road has been poor, if Like Man Utd, Arsenal, Everton etc we took more fans we'd have the full end behind the goal. A personal point to everyone:- The vocal support has never been split by the club, the support has been split by personal choice. I, along with 30 lads that used to sit in the Archers visited the media centre to look @ the new 'St. Mary's Stadium' we looked at the seating map, we visited website's to see where the 'Milton' fan's were relocating. weighed everything up then CHOOSE to sit in the Itchen North, you cannot force an atmmosphere, its a natural thing! Final question, all the fans that are 'delighted' with this new policy, where do you sit?? Why are you 'delighted' that our own fans are being forced to move? Why are you 'delighted that as a season ticket holder I can no longer take guests, meaning fewer fans and ultimately the one thing you are saying you want, a worse atmosphere through less fans? Cr4p idea by a cr4p supporters policy at our club. Home fans are moved in the northam when a club brings more fans, home fans are restricted in their movements around the stadium to allow away fans access, now home fans are being moved again!
  11. Saint robbie.......................hell yeah! Why are we even contemplating this?? It's bullsh1t. There is no reason to stop selling tickets for the Itchen, the best atmosphere and the ground has always been when the Itchen and Northam are at one, full to the rafters and singing their lungs out!!! I don't want to move, my son comes on a saturday so has a season ticket but, I love taking my daughter, wife, nephew, niece on the odd occasion they can make it, yet under this new policy I can no longer do this!!! Cr4p policy alienating us fans that have backed the club through thick and thin! I do not want to move and I will seriously reconsider my positions as a season ticket holder next year, why should I not be able to take guests to the game???
  12. Oooooooooooooh feck off you broken old record. Pearson had one job and only one job to do when he took over, keep us up, and guess what, HE KEPT US UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When will you ever change your tune?? Pearson came in and done his job, Lowe let him go and replaced him with Wotte and Jan, none of them did their job resulting in relegation, administration and -10!!!!!!!!! I do not get people like you, you'll defend everything that went wrong with our club, yet give no time to whats obviously an improvement!!!!!! Ps. 4-1 come on saints, come on Pardew
  13. St. Will if it makes no difference why change it??? You and I are obviously different types of fan (nothing wrong with that) I enjoy the banter with the away fans, I enjoy sitting with the 'older lad' I enjoy singing and cheering, this my friend you are not going to get in the Chaple or kingsland, no matter how good the view! Please note, you have not answered my point about me not now being able to take my daughter to any more games this season, am I not being alienated???
  14. Plenty of other places to go except the Itchen North!!!!!! I thought the point of this exercise was to encourage fans that want to go in this corner for them to go to the Northam, now you say if we don't want go to the Northam then go somewhere else??????????????
  15. What a load of cr4p. I don't want to sit with a load of kids, I don't want to sit behind the goal, I chose to sit in ther Itchen North for that rerason, what makes me less of a fan than someone who chooses to sit in the Kingsland or the chaple? They choose those stands for their own personal reason's as do I?? Ps. this has been debated since the ground opened???? When was that then my friend? Considering the ground was selling out every week it would seem unlikely that the club would be looking to stop selling matchday tickets for the itcehn corner!! Here's a question for all you fans that think this is a great idea, if this is for the benifet of atmosphere why not close all matchday tickets for the entire ground only allowing tickets to be sold for the Northam and chaple, that way creating two solid home ends??? One more question for you, why closing the itchen north something that will make everyone happy, except us erational, selfish, rattle throwing fans that enjoy sitting in the itchen north??
  16. What a total crock of sh1t!! There's has always been an opportunity to sit where ever you want to sit @ St. Mary's. There is a reason why a lot of the older element of Saints lads choose to sit in the Itchen North and it isn't because there is no room in the Northam! Leave things alone, by all means open more blocks in the Northam, hand out song sheets and put the words on the screen with the tune playing to help fans out, BUT all you'll do is stop fans attending if you force this sort of policy through! We have chosen to sit in the Itchen because we do not want the constant "stand up if you love the Saints" or "lets all have a disco"!!!!!!!!!!! This does not affect me as I'm a season ticket holder, but what it does now do is alienate me, my friends and family. On evening games I like to take my 8 year old daughter as she can't make Saturday's because of dance commitments, obviously now I can't. This also applies to friends now as well, no longer can they CHOOSE to sit with me and my group. Surely we should be encouraging more and more fans into St. Mary's not alienating fans even further. Mr. Cortesse, you've been poorly advised!!
  17. I'm in agreement DD, no promotion next year will, imo, be a failure on Pardew's part. I'm the same as you and agree questions will be asked if come Jan we're still in the bottom 4, but I'd stick with him, show him support and faith for a promotion push next year. We all agreed at the beginning of the season that with -10 avoiding relegation was the first target.
  18. Would a manager really be attracted to a club when said club's fans only give you 10 games then call for your head DD? I have no cast iron proof that Pardew will succeed. I don't know for sure that his signings will gel, I don't know if the results will turn or wither Pardew will deliver the promotions he's been employed to deliver. The one thing I do know is, I'm prepared to give him a lot more time than 10 games!
  19. Again, out of interest who would you replace Pardew with??? And again, after the close season we've had, having to rebuild a complete club from the boardroom, to the players, to the coaches, to the scouts I am staggered that after only 10 games some are calling for his head!!!!!!!!!!! Just like to point out that Lawrie took us down only to then become our most successful manager!!!!
  20. He took melis of and brought Mill's on, which imo backfired as Mill's in fact made us weaker down the left! I thought Mill's was way of the pace. What if he'd brought Holmes on and not wotton and they'd still scored??? The point I was trying to make "FFS" was, the team were playing excellent football, and if we'd taken the chances we'd created using Pardew's tactics, Pardew's team and Pardew's formation we'd of been out of sight!
  21. I agree results need to change and very soon, but I fail to see what more Pardew can personally do?? For large parts of Tuesdays game we we're well on top and created some excellent chances especially at 2-1 where we could of easily gone 3 or 4-1 up but for some great saves and poor finishing!!!!!!!!! Patience is what's required!
  22. Think what Robbie is trying to say is that after only 10 games into the season, especially after the close season we've had, its ridiculous to be calling for the managers head!!!!!!!!!!
  23. 100% agree mate, been saying this for years. I don't think we need to move the fans we just need to kick towards the northam in the second half. I don't think its a coincidence look over the seasons, Boro, Everton, Villa, Leeds, Brentford, Millwall, Bristol etc etc etc all kicked towards their own fans second half and all pulled back leads!!!
  24. Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you lot for f-ing real????? We had no pre-season, he is only just getting HIS team together. He and the team are just finding their feet, we had no coaches, no scouting network, the players we've brought in are struggling for fitness which will come. FFS, is this the real level of our support, 10 games then sack the manager?? Just out of interest who would you replace him with????? Yes it is frustrating, yes we need points and quick but come on, 10 games and 3 months in to a 5 year plan and your calling for his head, FFS!!!
  25. Thats simply because Wigley, Gray and Jan should of been nowhere near the managers job in the first place. Gray & Wigley were way out of their depth, Grays just been sacked from Northampton and Wigley has never managed since. As for Jan, he had no reputation, he took over from a popular manager because said manager was appointed by Crouch which didn't sit right with Lowe. Pardew has won promotion with 2 teams, he's got to the FA cup final, he has a pedigree. Your right things went wrong for him at Charlton, pretty sure there was a lot going on behind the scenes, don't forget, WGS got relegated with Coventry yet was probably one and still is one of most popular managers!
