You maybe right there mate. After all if they are truly trying to generate atmosphere in the 'extended northam' why not close all match day tickets for everywhere except the 'extended Northam' when that stand is full then fill the kingsland etc
-
Nick my friend its a nonsense because there is no logic or honesty regarding the restriction of match day sales. Just to go through your post. 1. Please explain how the away fans are to be moved into the Itchen stand? The logistics are impossible, how do you segregate between away fans and corporate? How do you segregate between the away fans and the 15 (?) executive boxes directly behind that section? How do you increase away capacity for cup games? 2. No problem at all with having one whole end dedicated to the vocal support, still does not explain why they are restricting sales to the Itchen. We all want as many fans in the stadium as possible, sell them to where ever people want to sit and if the club are going to make changes next season the fine. At that point I and fellow season ticket holders can decide where we want to sit and not be confronted with this restriction and friends and family joining us on match days. 3. Don't be silly mate, it doesn't matter which away game you go to you sit where your sat, the point of a season ticket is you buy your seat for the season!!!!!!!

I can only suggest that other fans wanting to buy tickets for this section or fans that are simply interested to know why the club are restricting sale's to e-mail Mr. Luker!
-
Reply from David Luker Hi Jason I would need to seek clarification on this point, but until this occurs I would suggest that we allow season ticket holders in this area to buy extra tickets as/when required. The ticket office staff have been instructed accordingly Best wishes David David Luker Head of Supporter Services ************************ Thank you David for your quick response to our query. It does seem that this decision was made without any real thought for existing season ticket holders and their guests and or family. Hope to hear clarification soon, Kind regards, Jason

Please read the opening post westender. As for what goes on in my house, my daughter is in bed, washed and read to by 8 o'clock, but on the odd occasion she is treated to stay up till 10 o'clock and take in a game, I hope that is ok by you. You wouldn't take an 8 year old to The Northam, I don't want to either that is pretty much my point mate!
-
I and my family were going to go but now I can't by tickets for the Itchen we won't be bothering......................hang on just read its only the Itchen and Northam open, couldn't make it up!
-
Exactly my point mate, open the Kingsland corner, give out song sheets, paper hats and drums, whatever floats their boat but why am I being persecuted??
-
What the f???? Put my own selfish needs above the needs of the club?? I'm paying my own money to sit in the stadium, how the fook am I being selfish by saying I want to sit in the section that i've paid for, for the last 7 years???? Don't you dare judge me on how I bring my daughter up you sanctimonious tw4t. So if I do as you and the club suggest and move to the more vocal section 'the extended northam' they won't sing 'my old man' etc etc?? Tell you what mooooosh, have your cling filmed club, all nice and clean and sanitised, everyone sat down, no swearing, no banter, no life, you keep it because that is not the game I fell in love with 25 years ago!

OS - Northam for more saints fans/moving seats update
St. Jason replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
A. I have not insulted you by calling you a 'muppet' or 'scarfer' so please do not label me a hooligan looking for my 'fix'! B. Please explain how the away fans are to be moved to the Itchen North with all the executive boxes behind said section, surely this is a recipe for violence, and how go we give them their full 15% for cup games, move the directors or again move us long suffereing home fans????? C. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can't be arsed anymore, you win. I'll stop taking friends for the rest of this season then reconsider my own support next year. Well done one and all, The Itchen is dead, long live the prawn sandwiches! -
The police are worried about crowd trouble so the response is..................................lets play it on Friday night, excellent!!!!!!!
-
Nick, please explain how this works?? How can the away fans be moved to the itchen corner with the executive boxes directly behind that section?? What about when we get a top home draw in the cup?? Do we move the directors so they can have the 15% they are entitled to or do we again upset the loyal home fans and move them again???
-
Well whats the point in closing in for match day purchases and alienating your loyal fans then??? Leave it as it is, it works, re brand the kingsland, but don't bullsh1t us!
-
FFS mate, I'm not interested in who you are, where you sit, why you go to football, what you do for a living, how old your wife is and how many times a week you have sex, all those things are your personal options! I enjoy the atmosphere in the Itchen corner, what is your problem?? I've sat there since the ground opened, my Dad has joined me there before he passed away, I've taken 2 nieces, 6 nephews and love taking my daughter, why should this OPTION/RIGHT now be taken away???
-
A. its not the law, ITS GOVERMENT POLICY! B. All the moaners in the Itchen?? I've had my seat moved 4 times in 3 seasons, I'm a customer ffs, surely I'm entitled to voice my dissatisfaction. C. Why are you so dismissive of your fellow fans rights???
-
no back boards in the Itchen North mate, so what we'll do is close that part of the ground so more fand can sit where you are and really bang those boards! Well done Saints, master stroke!!!
-
Which point, the trouble last time or England playing meaning the game has been moved to Friday?? If your saying its been moved because of the trouble, what proof do you have??
-
Its not actually the law that you have to be seated the entirety of the game DellDays as standing during moments of excitement, leaving and entering the ground are permitted! Funny as my moments of excitement normally mean I'm laying down! Ps. I could be wrong but the way I understood it, it was only goverment policy rather than law??
-
You answer your own point Dell Day's, I'm not restricted if I move, so by making me move is in itself restricting my choice!
-
Yes, the proximity of the away fans, that's what's unique to our corner, that's is what creates the 'special' atmosphere, the banter with the away fans!
-
Why?? Who are they trying to please by stopping matchday tickets for the Itchen North??? And again, why should I be restricted in taking my family to a game??
-
I have no problem in them actively promoting the 'Extended Northam' my problem is with them taking away my right to purchase a second, third or fourth ticket for friends, family or guests to sit with me!!! There is no reason why they can't do both, promote the Kingsland sorry 'Extended Northam' as the new vocal end of St. Mary's, give tickets away, print song sheets etc etc etc just leave the Itchen corner and the old lads alone to plod on as we do. There's room for everyone, if you want to 'have a disco' go to the Northam & extended northam, if you want a kip go to the chaple and if you want a bit of a laugh a song and banter with the away fans then come to the Itchen North!!
-
Dell days, mate, please listen, please, I don't want to move my seat. I like, love the Itchen Corner. I along with 30 mates took time and several visits to the media centre @ The Dell and on the St. Mary's site to choose our seats. Already in the last 3 years I've had to move my seat from block 2 to block 5 to block 4 from the back row's to the middle because of the club's new and ever changing policies, not the best customer relations is it??
-
Man of the Match, would be difficult to choose between Lambert or Llanna for me, also worth noting Melis and James! COYR
-
Dear Sir's, I've read with dismay your intention to restrict the Itchen North stand to season ticket holders only. I feel extremely let down and alienated by this decision. I own 2 no. season tickets, 1 for me and one for my son. Evening games I like to take my 8 year old daughter as I can't on Saturdays as she dances. With your new policy it means I can no longer take her,my wife, nephew or niece as they are only occasional fans. Yet again I'm left here thinking 'am I really respected or wanted as a fan'? So by one swift flick of a pen you have lost 4 occasional paying customers, crazy! Jason I realise there is a couple of threads on this subject and the Mod's may choose to lock this one, but I feel its extremely important and also feel the that club are scoring an own goal here and should be told now, before its to late!

Agree about Wotton having a good game but for me the difference today was Lambert. Today he wanted it, he was hard, strong, aggressive and determind, on Tuesday, to me, he looked scared to win!!
