Don't forget though mate Tranmere only brought 50 fans with them, so 19750 saints fans for the match ain't half bad. To be honest i though there was more than that yesterday. Going back to Norwich, their ticket prices are very fair, also the have February or march madness, so when the tickets went on sale they had every chance of still being in the Championship! It would be interesting to see how our attendances compare with previous season's best's in this division????

Not saying pardew is god or that he is unquestionable, just saying that because we weren't winning 6-0 doesn't make him a w4nker! Tranmere were ****e, they were time wasting from the 15th minute, every throw-in, every free kick, every injury was taken at a snails pace. Every time a player went down the faked injury and the trainer came on, that was the game plan, frustrate the players, the crowd, kill the game and hope for a lucky break to snatch at least a point. The ref was poor, it was obvious to everyone in the ground what was going on except him. Saints to their credit were patient, stuck to their game and eventually ran out easy 3-0 winners. Funny, second half when tranmere were behind and chasing the game, i can't remember seeing their trainer on the pitch once! All I'm saying is, we as fans sometimes need to show the same patience as the team, get behind the lads from the ko, don't wait for a goal before we sing, sing from the of!

I agree with you mate, I love the way these two men go about their business, quietly, professionally. We've had a chairman who loved the limelight, I'll stick with these two thanks. I think the best way we can show our gratitude is to buy season tickets, half season tickets, lets fill the ground!!!!!!

Some blokes stood behind in the 1st half were actually berating Pardew, shouting "Pardew you w4nker"!! I questioned them and was told "will he needs to ******* change it" I then said "yea your right, 1 defeat in 14, what a w4nker Pardew is" called them all pr1cks and told them to sit down and shut up. Funny, second half they were all singing "Alan Pardew's Red & White Army" couldn't make it up. Ps. I know we are on a different planet than Tranmere but were their spoiling tactics the most frustrating thing to watch ever or what! I think the atmosphere was good, first half suffered after conceding and when the second went in it got tougher, a goal for Saints all ways lefts things which it did, if the 3rd had gone in the place would of taken off!

Mines on my left shoulder blade opposite my England tattoo, its about the size of a hand, never had any trouble abroad if anything its normally an ice breaker "see your a Saints fan" etc. Never had any sh!te from a skate either, I think they know not to talk to me as they'd get a swift reply! Had my tattoo for 13 years now, never regretted getting any of them, only have 5 to be fair, all England and Saints, English Rose with Saints above and England below on left bicep, Lion on a union flag with southampton fc above and England below on right bicep, Saints and England badges on shoulder blade and my daughters name on left breast.......and yes I do have a skin head :-)

Come on then moooooooooooooosh, why should I not question the club after buying 2 season tickets only to be told after 3 games that can't buy tickets for friends, family and colleagues???

So after buying two season tickets,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,again, then after after 3 games being told that I can no longer buy a ticket for my daughter, son, wife, brother etc. I'm out of order for questioning the clubs new policy?? Quite right moooooosh. I was echoing this point in the pub after yesterday, saying that fans need to understand that we will loose games this season but fook me, we're going to win more than we loose. Enjoy it, get on board for the ride!!!

Here here delldays, the half time entertainment at Southend was great, 12 x 18 year old half naked girls running around the pitch was great to see......................and yes............I am an old perv ;-)
