  1. Hi everyone Just a heads up that the SDSA, who are independent to Southampton Football Club, are holding a sports & general knowledge quiz at the Saints Pub in Millbrook, Southampton, on Thursday 27th March with an 8:00 prompt start. We'd like teams of 4 to 6 but if you're an individual who would like to enter a quiz and support us, please come along because we can always make up teams from other individuals who are at the Saints Pub. This event is being held in the function room with a buffet supplied by the Pub. Eugene has been tremendously supportive towards the SDSA in this fund raising project. There are full details on the SDSA Website We'd love to see you there, whoever you are, and would also thank Steve Grant for supporting us by agreeing to put this up. Hopefully meet you on Thursday and we look forward to it
  2. Thanks for your reply. It seems genuine so I'll give him a call. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/sdsa-open-day-11th-july-890146.aspx

  7. Hi Mike - that's MUCH better mate lol:) Sorry to be a pain!
  8. Mike-clicked on the Contact tab at the top which opens up another page. That page has "Contact" at the top of the page just above the pic of the tributes book for Markus. If the pointer is placed over the contact it indicates a clickable link by the ;'hand' coming up. When I click on that nothing happens - no new window opens and no email page opens. That's why I'm saying it doesn't work. If you've designed it to be like this fair enough.
  9. Hi Mike Great job so far with raising this money, well done. I was one who queried whether you should put up contact details and so was pleased to see you had. I went to the site and clicked on Contact but nothing happened - not for me anyway! But, one thing I wnated to point out was that I believe, from my perspective, it would make donors feel much more positive about donating if there was a physical address and even telephone number. Make it clear you don't, and will not, accept calls between certain hours etc. Please don't take this as criticism as I'm just thinking that those who don't know you may feel more inclined to donate to the cause if it appears to be above board.
  10. Thanks Saint Armstrong. Mike, you need to show people who stumble across the ML site that it's above board and well regulated so contact details of the person running the operation; what happens in the event of the project being aborted etc, etc. You may even need to have accounts if appealing to the public, I'm not sure. My initial thoughts were "How do I know this is not a scam"? I can see from what's been said on here that it is not a scam but others may not come here to find out. Paul
