  1. yeah, you're right. I've got the One M8 too, and that's pretty much made the tab redundant - that, and the chromecast. Will take the tab on holiday with us - but while at home, it very rarely gets used... so much so that I couldnt find the bugger last week
  2. Got a Galaxy Note 8 with work. Never use it for work purposes, and hardly ever use it full stop. The battery life is amazingly poor… can go from fully charged to dead in about 2 hours.
  3. I am actually in the process of doing just this It's very rare that my parents agree to babysit, so I'm jumping on the chance and asking if they can do the previous week.
  4. Swansea (H) - W QPR (A) - W West Ham (H) - W Liverpool (H) - L West Brom (A) - D Crystal Palace (H) - W Chelsea (A) - L Burnley (H) - W Everton (A) - D Hull (H) - W Stoke (A) - D Spurs (H) - D Sunderland (A) - L Leicester (A) - W Villa (H) - W Man City (A) L That gives us an additional 28 points to our current 42 - so 70 points touch and go for CL, but should be enough for a Europa spot
  5. Right. I'm trying to find a restaurant where there wont be any w@nky set menus or "2 sittings only". I've tried the Water Margin in North Baddesley and Ranchos in town - both have sitting times and set menus. I just want somewhere where the Mrs and I can go out for a bit, away from the kids, without being surrounded by spotty 16 year olds trying to get their end away, or being ripped off by the restaurateur for a b0ll0cky Americanised holiday. Suggestions?
  6. Well that's him fired then

  8. Murray was imperious today, coukd easilly have won in 3 Looking good for his first Aus open title
  9. Anyone know much about these? We've currently got a combi boiler (Remeha Avanta Plus) and no thermostat so have just 3 settings; on, off, timer. Thinking of getting the Tado. It's a smart wireless thermostat and costs 7.99/month. http://www.tado.com What I don't quite understand yet is how will this save me money (it quotes 31%) if the boiler will be constantly on? Does anyone with more technical know how than me care to explain?
  10. yup
  11. That may well be the case, Tokyo, if the Mrs gets her way. I'd much prefer to use www.kitchenrefaced.com to be honest (they quoted £2100, for the same kitchen Wren quoted £6100).
  12. I agree trousers, but the wife likes the look of them and the fact that you don't pay anything until after delivery makes it a little more bearable. Impossible to find anything about them on duedil or companies house
  13. Had anyone got any first hand experience of this company? They're all over Facebook and I think used to be called still haus kitchens. I've read the reviews on Facebook but want to know real life experiences.
  14. On the back of the thread from our US supporting friend who is making his way over to the West Ham game, it got me thinking. Why do we support The Saints? For me, it was because when we moved to Southampton when I was about 4/5 we lived in a shared house with 2 random Chinese people in Milton Road until our house purchase went through. We moved in in the September, just at the beginning of the football season. My elder brother was in to football, but supported our 'home town club' - but decided to go to a match. Living in Milton Road, going out playing on a Saturday was pretty much a no-no, but it was great seeing all the people streaming up / down the road... and also occasionally hearing the roar of the home fans... and more often than not the cheer of the away fans Fast forward 8 years when I was 12 - I got my first season ticket (a Junior Saints one I think) and the rest is history. I was a season ticket holder from 12 until I was 24, when work and family commitments (got in the way) became more important. Being a dad of a 3 year old boy I cant wait for the time that he is interested in football (hopefully) and can take him along to SMS.... although I'm not sure that'll happen as he says "you're not watching football, AGAIN, are you daddy" So - what is your reason for supporting the mighty red and white?
  15. Just tried to send you a PM but it says: Block 18 has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her. If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove Block 18 from the recipient list and send the message again.
  16. Is that a yes? I'll Pm you
  17. Is anyone a gas engineer? Were planning a new kitchen which involves taking down a wall and moving the cooker, currently electric Will be gas. The problem is the gas pipe is half way up the wall that is being replaced with an opening and half height wall. The pipe ends almost exactly where the new opening is. Question is can the gas pipe be moved? Can it go in to the floor?
  18. Forster Clyne Toby Fonte Bertrand Schneiderlin Wanyama Tadic Davis Elia Pelle Subs: Davis, Gardos, JWP, JRod, Mane, Reed, Cork
  19. I don't think i tell you enough, but here goes, I love you....
  20. What he say? "I heart Ronald"?
  21. Yeah, but with the exception of Chelsea, the rest are mid table teams, at best
  22. It's one thing winning 8-0 at home but a completely different matter grinding out a 2-1 away win at Newcastle. It's the stuff of real team spirit and one that is the real deal and challenging for the CL....for real.
  23. It wasn't pretty all the time and it definitely wasn't easy but y God this team can battle as well as play attractive stuff.
  24. whats the saying? "you dont win anything at Southampton" - that's as maybe, but I reckon you may just get a Champions League spot come May.
  25. Just looking at the financials of getting in to the Champions League. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/newsid=2117799.html They (UEFA) paid out a minimum of just €12.2M. I assume clubs will get more than this from TV rights?
