Agree completely. Have never understood why a captain is a GK or Striker. They need to be in the heart of the game, not in the fringes. KD has done a great job, and will continue to do so, but not as captain IMO.

no, not really SS. There are a great number of people who are to blame for where we are right now. But this is not the time or place to discuss that - there has been far too many threads (arguments!) discussing this. I may be 'happy clappy' as you said, but i just think that if you think positively then you've got a better chance of good things happening than if you just think the worse. Now is the time to get behind the club and unite and get this club, that we all love, moving in the right direction. [-o

Contrary to the other thread, i actually believe that Pardew WILL come good, and with a few more signings, which he's well aware that we need, we will turn the corner. It's not going to happen over night, and we're not going to win every match (1 would be nice, granted) but we are starting from a big negative, both points and squad position, so it's going to take time to turn around. Were 3 games in, and not been playing very well, but we are just that - 3 games in - if it gets to 13 or 23 and we're still sh!t then yes, start to panic, but not yet. ](*,)
