Thanks for the replies. You can use your own van, and they recommend that after a short while - when you know you like it. Fuel is paid at 17ppm and you can claim back 45ppm I was told. I also have interviews for a local private hire company as a chauffeur doing all kinds of jobs, which sounds cool. Not sure of the pay but that is fully serviced cars. Also have one at Sainsbury's for a driver. I do have interviews for jobs more in line with what I've done (Account Management / Recruitment) so hopefully one will come off

Agree the pay is low, but it's £400 more than nothing. It's less that what we need, but hey. Was more asking about the job itself.

My contract is coming to an end this month and have a few interviews booked, but do have an offer for an Amazon multi drop driver. Never done a driving job before so looking for advice. Anyone done/do this? They pay £100 day, typically 6 day week, and £15/day bonus. They also charge £165/ week van hire. Self employed basis
