  1. That's not how they won. They scored three goals; the first was a dodgy penalty the second was poor defending the third was frm a corner (which shuldn't have been given) when Jos went walkabout leaving their player unmarked. I'm not saying they didn't deserve to win - they did - but it was down to our poor defending rather than Barca-like attacking play.
  2. It should be ours too. The team most desperate to win probably will. That should be us.
  3. I like Sons of Anarchy. Breaking Bad is clearly the best around though.
  4. You're probably right, but sometimes the old bill prefer all the "visitors" to be in one place, where they are better able to keep an eye on them.
  5. Interesting tweet from our "friend" Matt Slater: "Also been talking to Peter Storrie. Would you go back to Pompey? "My wife would say no but my heart says yes." Hmmmmm Would just be too funny...
  6. Just looking at the schedule after this weekend to the end ofthe season, and the number of days' rest players will have... We're playing on 31st, 7th, 9th 13th, 17, 21st and 28th. Full rest days between games is: 6, 1, 3, 3, 3 and 6. Pretty tough. Then I looked at WHam: 27th, 31st, 6th 9th, 14th, 17th, 21st and 28th. Rest days: 3, 5, 2, 4, 2, 3 and 6 And Reading: 31st, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 21st and 28th Rest days: 5, 3, 2, 3, 3, and 6 Which makes our fixtures look fairly well spread out. WHam have twice got only 2 rest days between games, and reading have one occation where they have only 2 rest days. Our worst run will beon the 7th and then on the 9th. (1 rest day), with the first of these matches being the derby, which will no douby be a "high energy" occation. This makes thePalace game crutial, and one where we'll need the whole squad. I know we have a good squad, and I assume WHam have too, but not sure about Reading. I can see them falling away.
  7. What is 20ft long, with an IQ of 3? The queue for the Fratt*n end.
  8. The extra home game probably isn't an advantage for WHam - their record suggests they're better away from Upton Park.
  9. 43, Fareham (via Petersfield, Hedge End & Plymouth) 1st Game - v Liverpool at White Hart Lane, FA Cup Semi Final 1984 (I think). Regular home & away during the late 80's and ST holder since about '94.
  10. Last House on the Left Requiem for a Dream Kill List Devils Rejects and if you really want to have a fun time... Tyrannosaur
  11. ...and made Sir Rickie feel 10ft tall into the bargain.
  12. Lee, every time. He is a quality player.
  13. How many Boro fans? 2500??
  14. If you can get a copy of Breaking Bad, it really is worth it - best series on TV by a mile

  16. If WHam don't go up, there may well not be a West Ham next year...
  17. I wouldn't bank on it. I voted Lib Dem last time - and I'll never EVER make that mistake again. (And that also goes for several friends and relations).
  18. This is the one for me: http://audioboo.fm/boos/346499-listen-to-saints-players-in-the-dressing-room-post-match ;-)
  19. I see it's West Brom B v Leeds this afternoon.
  20. Is that possible? You can tell when Clegg' is lying - his lips move.
  21. I don't know, but presumably the new "Financial fair Play" rules, that (I think) come in next season are aimed at stopping clubs like P*mpey cheating?
  22. Chuckle? That would be priceless! BC buys club for £1 to protect his £17,000,000 debt. And continues to bleed the blue few dry for years to come. Almost as good as liquidation!
  23. They do not like it up 'em. It's going to be a monumental **** take in April, can't wait. My only regret is that at Farton, the "home" end (such as it is) is opposite the away fans, so we had to stand and watch them in 2005. At SMS, they'll be looking at the Chapel, which probably won't have the same effect as looking at our part of the Northam woulld have had.
  24. Reading are a good side, but I can't see them finishing above West Ham. I can see Birmingham finishing above the Hammers. Of all the teams around us, they're the one's who could go on a winning run from now on. (IMHO, anyway).
  25. Personally, I think if we finish above Birmingham, we'll go up automatically.
