Since when has not having a budget effected their transfer activity? As far as I can tell, they'll look at this as the green light to spend another £30million - unless the FL finally grows some balls.

I think you're comparing oranges and apples; Wimbledon's club was literally stolen from them and transplanted in another City. Pompey on the other hand have more or less deliberatly committed suicide. But the blue few were very happy to enjoy the glory (and take the ****). They're only squinning now as they've been found out.

I disagree. The skates' various incarnations up to date have allowed them to to retain their league position, so in effect its been the same club. As soon as they start in a different league or non-league due to being a new company, the club is "new" as well. Our pet Skate is right - no history, no tradition, nothing. Just a "few" fans who used to support a different club in the same city. (IMHO, anyway).
