  1. Instead of being 6 points clear of relegation, I think of it more as a 3 point head-start on Leicester and Ipswich
  2. Last season's Northern games: Huddersfield Away : Lost 2-0 Carlisle Away : Lost 3-2 Tranmere Away : Lost 2-0 Hartlepool Away : Drew 0-0 Walsall Away : Lost 1-0 Rochdale Away : Lost 2-0
  3. Because Connolly is better and in better form?
  4. Davis Richardson - Martin - Fonte - Fox Guly - Chaplow - Cork - Hammond - Lallana Connolly With De Ridder & Forte coming on with 20 minutes to go against tired defenders

    Pele

He played with my other team, Falkirk, and looked a pretty decent bottom of SPL defender, not a million pound Premiership defender!
  6. Glad he's gone: He's a skate Never wanted to be here Not worth £12 million We have De Ridder
  7. Bart - made a couple of decent saves but he dropped the ball twice. Butterfield - diabolical. Their goal came from his mistake Seaborne - get rid off him soon. He's not Championship class Martin - shaky but picked up Seaborne's mistakes. Great prospect. Dickson - did nothing bad, did nothing good. De Ridder - Fantastic goal and crosses. Looks a shrewd signing Schneiderlin - Brilliant passing. CM is really our strongest position atm Chaplow - Had a good game and really improved when Hammond came on Holmes - Decent. Good understudy for Adam Lambert - Needed minutes and got them. Good free kick, decent game Guly - so frustrating Hammond - ran the show Lallana - non-existent Forte - so glad he got his goal and is off the mark.
  8. James McFadden would be a fantastic signing! Always terrific for Scotland
  9. Darren Fletcher, Steven Fletcher, Phil Bardsley, James Morrisson, Craig Gordon, Alan Hutton, Kris Commons, Graham Dorrans, Shaun Maloney, Chris Iwelumo....?
  10. Just put two handicap bets on us (+16) and Derby (+24) and an outright bet to win the title on Leicester.
  11. Do you expect the official site to put pictures up of the games?
  12. In Preston's friendly with Falkirk on Saturday, Mills and Mellor were starting but Treacy nowhere to be seen. Could be tying up a deal here
  13. Well, I watch probably about 5/6 games of football on the TV every week and always choose a side to cheer on. But when I was watching the Saints v Millwall game on the first day of the 2009/10 season, it was weird, almost like I cared about Saints winning that game as much as I would my local team Falkirk. That season, I looked out for all the results and Southampton became my "English team." Last season, my interest in the team grew, and I attended my first ever Saints game in November, and I started loving the club more than I do the team I have followed for 7 years. And in August, I'm visiting St. Mary's for the first time for the opening game against Leeds and hopefully I'll make about 7-10 games this term
  14. Top 10, with a real good chance of the Play-Offs, depending on who we sign.
  15. I think Middlesborough will surprise everyone and come good this season as they've had a good end to the season and don't have as much expectation as they did this time last season. Birmingham and West Ham have decent chances of going straight back up and I'm confident that the Saints will reach the play-offs but I think teams like Forest and Cardiff will have midtable finishes after 2 years of heartbreak in the play-offs. Tip for the title: Hmm...I'll go with Pompey
