have you tried Sixt? I got a blinding deal on a Zafira from them in Spain. Was cheaper than the basic car from anyone else. We sat all the kids in the middle row so no saftey issue that trip!

with the 2 back seats up you have virtually no storage space. Also the people that sit in those 2 seats need short legs and not mind being uncomfortable for the journey. Its really a 5 adult + 2 child car. Having had a Zafira a few years back they are ok cars - but we wouldn't touch one again after the 5th Gear test.

Beirut for me - such a tale of 2 cities. During the day I was in the South near the airport watching the Syrian soldiers shooting their guns in the air after the elections, in the evening we were in the North in an area that looked like the French Riviera eating fantastic food with no hint you were in a mostly destroyed country. I have also travelled a lot but I can't honestly say I have been anywhere I didn't like - except maybe Columbus Ohio!

I get 3 or 4 people following me daily who turn out to be spam - I just block them. You also get businesses who are constantly searching for use of a particular word - I posted an update about Golf and within a few mins had 2 people following me who have businesses related to golf. Spam on Twitter doesn't really affect your use of the site - you don't get tonnes of updates from these people and Twitter are very quick to remove any spammers.

+1 I find it very useful for keeping up on news on subjects I have interest in. You do get a lot of XXX spam and make a million crap

Had a very nice meal at the Lamb Inn on Saturday. Luckily the rain stopped as soon as we got there so managed to have a nice walk in the forest too. Landlord is a bit gruff but food and beer are very good. Thanks for the suggestions - will try some of the others another time.

a combination of Spotify and software called Replay Music works well if you don't want to download via torrents. Replay music captures from your sound card, splits the songs and gets the song info from the internet. It does mean you have to listen to the music or leave your PC streaming the music while it captures but other than that its a good way around the torrent issue

Thanks all for your suggestions - We are going to try th eLamb Inn in Nomansland. Will let you know our opinions next week. Some of the others look and sound very nice so will keep all the suggestions and work my way around them!
