I may have missed it, but what happened to the 'season tickets for life' people, are those tickets still being honoured? So the 10k is in addition to them?
-
Can he play front sweeper though?
-
Ah, Lawro's predictions...
-
If we can sort out Puncheon's attitude surely we can fix anyone...
-
With all this stuff blowing up and then getting resolved etc I find it hard to remember that the season is still going on and we still have a game left.
-
McManaman, Townsend and Ince. Have I stepped back into the early 90s?
-
Still think a key point in all this is that Clyne is our best RB and should be played against Bale. Make up the rest of the defence from whatever we can find that looks half decent/half fit in training this week, bearing in mind it it may be some Forrener or even begin with a 'J' and end with 'ack Stephens'. And then maybe buy some defenders in the next transfer window.

not sure that taking Cork off is ever the answer to anything
-
Still a chance for tommy forecast then?
-
So, what are the chances of them being back in administration by the start of next season? Does the 'cannot start two consecutive seasons in administration' apply when it is DIFFERENT administrations?
-
Not sure but maybe I'd have Jack Stephens in central defence rather than Richardson. Need to free him up in case we need a front sweeper.
-
And down they go, with or without the points deduction... bye bye!

no statement from portpin?

Seen Bolasie play for Plymouth several times and not anywhere near our quality. On his day he's good but not that good. Championship player at best.

Actually I'd add Cork to that list also. Thought he did well with a point to prove against his old club, did a lot of the hard work deep midfield.

Wayne Bridge second on F365's list of overcapped England players
Bobbyboy replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
That is one weird list. You could fill it up with most of the team that played under Graham Taylor and it would make more sense. Geoff Thomas, Carlton Palmer, Andy Sinton, John Salako, that whole crowd. Maybe (Batty and Wise apart) they were exempt. Also wasn't John Barnes picked for about six years on the basis of that one goal against Brazil? I'd put all those (and Heskey) ahead of Bridge in this list. Saints viewpoint of course is that you'll never really see an overcapped player from our place, will you? Now if England would have played Bridge at LB and then stuck Chris Marsden in front of him at LM, THAT would have been a good deal. -
We'll lose heavily, with particularly poor performances from the full-backs. Then all the speculation about chelsea signing all our best players in the summer will go away. it's all a cunning plan...

Wonder if there'll be a feature on his toilet break in the Everton game and subsequent goal celebrations... -
Can he play left back?

Didn't we beat them in the Zenith Data Systems Cup in the early 90s also? Oh... hang on I think I've been whooooshed... -
Definitely. That showed last week when he was willing to drop the Trust like a live grenade in favour of Keith Harris who at least pretended to have some money. Birch is probably wondering how on earth he is going to get out of this in one piece.

Notwithstanding any further twists to come today, isn't it the case that right now we're right where we were a couple of days ago except a few things have been made clearer? PST is still the official, only, game in town. Presumably court case must go ahead now to determine valuation of the fatpipes place. We're right where we were EXCEPT for what we now know - the FL will not accept any other bidders, Pompey will be thrown out of the league if they do not exit admin "before the end of the current playing season" and Chainrai seems to have revealed his plans through Harris, and has been told 'no'. So aside from knowing a lot more and seeing who has played what cards, aren't we just exactly where we were earlier in the week with PST trying to scrabble money together and nutjobs asking where the money is going to come from? I'm not sure, it's a genuine question - has anything material really changed now?

Can see this going back to court again since PKF are court-appointed to get best deal for creditors. Chinny will have another say, I'm sure.

Jonathan Forte to Sheffield United on loan for rest of the season.

Well that's us relegated then
