Was shocked to see a red given at the time and watching it back I still don't think it was a red. Bertrand was tackling to his right-hand side and with his left leg, therefore effectively running parallel with the player - try doing this and keeping your left foot on the floor the entire time. It is extremely difficult! To face forward and swing your left leg around to the right to tackle a ball it means you lose balance and cannot keep the foot down. As a result, Bertrand's boot comes off the top of the ball and into the guy's leg. Can you tell I think it was slightly harsh?!

Echo all the above comments. Sad to see Jack go, top pro and great player. Always did very well for us and a huge part of our recent success. I wish him all the best at Swansea and in the rest of his career. Shame there aren't more footballers like him.

No point in rushing him back too soon after that sort of injury. Will have great depth once he's back though seeing as though our £12m signing Long is struggling to get much game-time even with J-Rod not in contention.

We have 5 or 6 better midfielders in his position? I'd love to know who they are apart from MS? In my opinion, Cork performed better than Big Vic over the course of last season. Who else is better than him? Does his job brilliantly, we seem to play better when he's playing and would be a big loss to us.

JWP is still very young and come through our academy so I wouldn't expect him to be on much more than 10k a week, especially as he isn't a regular starter for us yet. We do seem to be handing out larger wages now, the problem is that the big wages are going to the wrong people i.e. that waste of money Osvaldo.
