Agreed. Appears to play a bigger part than just GK coach though - always the 'go to' man when it comes to substitutions and tactics etc.

A flawless performance! MOTM too tricky to call - all 3 CBs were excellent, Cedric very impressive, well done to JWP, however I'd give it to either Davis or Long. Well played Saints! Back up the table we go!

Hate being negative about it but can't see much enjoyment coming up over the next 5 months. Get clear of those relegation places and then give some of our youngsters a go. Too many foreign players brought in with the expectation of several European matches who simply aren't performing/aren't getting much of a chance due to fewer matches this season than we prepared for. Bit of a mess all round!

Absolutely. If we go out today then this could be the most boring season since that season we first went down to the Championship and finished 12th with no real threat of going up or down. That's unless we get dragged into a big relegation battle...

There's definitely a goal in this for us, couple of good chances in that half. Just depends if we can keep them out at the other end! Draw right now would be a very good result.

VvD superb and Stek a very good loan signing. Caulker also a decent loan as won't get many better 4th CB options. Other signings all look a little unconvincing, particularly Martina which was a wasted transfer. Hopefully Clasie and Juanmi come good, although not convinced the latter will in the Prem. Cedric has done quite well so far with Romeu looking OK. Overall, 7/10 for me with the VvD signing dragging that mark up to a 7!

Oh and Long, too, was awful I thought!

Had a feeling that today would be a frustrating game and unfortunately it was extremely frustrating! 2 clear penalties not given but we played poorly. In particular, I thought that Fonte was unusually shaky, Cedric didn't have a good game and Tadic was doing my head in at times - too selfish and kept hitting the first man (or Butland) with his crosses and set-pieces. All in all, grrr!

I'm going to ask the traditional question at this time on a Saturday afternoon - any good links for a stream?!

Good team for us but Stoke side looks strong, too. Have a feeling this may end in a draw with us rueing some missed opportunities - really hope I'm wrong! Mane on for Long in the 2nd half as Long surely won't be match fit.
