I've always felt Holgate could be good. If anything i'd have preferred a permanent move. A loan does let us out if he is bad but equally it will be annoying if he is good. Fraser, not at all a fan of. 4 years ince he's been decent. I'll be especially annoyed if he's meant as a sop for us unnecessrily losing our young quality goalscoring winger.

Because the person i was responding to was listing Leicester players (not Leeds) & claiming their 5 free agent losses were sales.

They have only sold 3 players, 1 of them a complete reserve to ipswich. As i stated they've generated a lot less in transfer fees.

Exactly my point. We have complete control of the Tella situation & can revisit next summer even if he doesn't renew contract. This logic that we simply have to sell is nonsense.

Firstly Fraser hasn't shown much sign of being a good player for the last 4 years. His last decent season was 18-19. If he's a supplement to our current first xi that's 1 thing but if(and it currently is an if) he's a replacement for a first teamer then there's nothing to be positive about

I'm resigned to Adams leaving. Hopefully Tella is just injured as i'd be gutted if he leaves, especially if the replacement is a poor loan like Fraser.

Yeah hope it is Sully. Earlier in the summer was hoping to keep both tella and Sully, but his 'off treating himself' seems highly suspect, so been expecting him to be off.

I'm rather nervous seeing all the loan links personally. Especially if we end up selling good players for big money we should be keeping & replacing with this. Feels like there's a lot of hedging of bets going on rather than a commitment to getting promotion.
