It's funny I was thinking about Macca over the weekend and how he was a good shot stopper at his peak. I was wondering if because of that he had declined faster with age than keepers who are great organisers/positional/physically. Hope it was more of a confidence / injury thing and we see a revival over the run in. (Nice that he got a confidence building clean sheet to start) If so he'd be an upgrade over the poor shot stopper bazanu even if he's less assured with ball at his feet.

Can't think any more than 1 game at a time. Beat Cardiff and see where we are.
-
It’s a shame for bazanu that’s he’s injured. If we’re lose a player to injury we’re lucky it is him and not a key player. It is about playing to mccarthy’s strengths. He’s not going to have the distribution but Hopefully he can show himself to be a better shot stopper, cross dealer, which are attributes i value in a gk.

Getting slightly sloppy
-
Geing greedy i'd like a quick 4th and then give a few of the key players a early rest ahead of Saturday.

Interesting to Mara is the one out.
-
Find Martin’s whole i don’t want to put a cm on the bench because it limits his attacking options logic extremely weird. With 9 spots on the bench it seems that there is room to accommodate that and still have a variety of attacking options.

Yeah I thought Stephen’s was excellent at CB. Never been much of a bednarek fan
-
Charles, just has to be on the bench imo
-
By the time they play coventry, coventry will likely be on the beach
-
It says something about our goalkeeping recruitment, we've got mccarthy who has been put out to pasture, the cheap replacement backup is no good and the starter's upside is his distribution.
-
Stephen’s was already stretching his hamstring before the change. i don’t really trust any of Armstrong, airbo or smallbone to have stamina for 90 minutes. Badly need to get something out of a talent like Charles.
-
Fraser was pretty controlled when you see it back, foot down etc imo.
-
See hoedt is saying there should have been a red card. I think he’s referring to when their defender Porteous was knocked down, did anyone see what actually occurred?
-
Interesting. My first reaction was could he have done better but haven’t seen the goal angle

watching large parts of that 2nd half you would have been confused about which side were higher in the league. At least the dream is still alive. Roll on Preston. Our stamina always seems so lacking. Thought the whole possession ethos was that you wore the other team out. Was Charles injured or just back out of favour? The whole lack of DCM on the bench and then moving stephens from where he was playing well to midfield just stunk to high heaven.

What, given the massive money advantage the playoffs were the bare minimum of expectation.

Ipswich are the ones that look like they might need help from saints based on the remaining fixtures. Definitely more of a keegan ‘I’d love it…’ speech feel about a world where we win 6 including beating 2 of top 3 away
-
It would be nice if stuttering continues and saints can string wins together to at least make the Leicester game have some meaning other than coronating them
-
Truly pathetic.
-
Our midfield is gone.
-
The main odd thing with KWp is that they priortised playing him against Middlesborough over Ipswich.

I'm assuming all electrics are built with the stupid keyless approach that has caused car thefts to.soar. If so i'll be staying with older 2nd hand petrol cars until i can possibly avoid it.

A club that blows 8M on an injured striker isn't one i have much faith to replace with better than adams

As soon as I heard Dan James name, I thought he’d miss. Odd Ramsey didn’t take one.
