Joshua King anyone?? On loan at Hull from United. Seen him take Cardiff apart a few weeks ago single handedly. Was very impressed. Played on the right that night but can also play through the middle. He is a very similar player to Matty Phillips. Cant see him getting a chance at United and I think we could get him fairly cheap.

Emnes was the only player for them that caught my eye. Although he didnt have any service I thought he looked pretty lively. And I agree with Saint_Clark,Davis is doing nothing wrong at the moment. Yes he's getting on abit but I think he's got another season or two left in him. I dont think a GK is a priority.

Every time I see him play he seems to be improving . He is frustrating at times but when he's on form he's a class act.

IMO they are both decent enough defensively and going forward have different qualities. Butterfield prefers to cross the ball from a deep position where as Frazer prefers to get to the byline before putting the ball in the box, as a result Frazer gets caught out of position alot more than Butterfield. I dont think there is much between the two but if I had to choose it would probly be Frazer.

Just got back after a few beers in Cardiff, although we were pretty sloppy tonight we could have easily taken a point with the chances we had. We struggled with the final ball tonight. Lallana had a poor game and IMO it showed how much we rely on him to break teams down. Other than Frazer, who IMO was Saints MOTM, nobody looked like they could beat a man. Guly as an attacking threat was average at best although he did do some good tracking back to help Frazer out. We lacked a spark tonight until De Ridder came on . He got us going. IMO he looked quality, buzzing around Lambert, dropping short , running in behind , beating his man. He also showed good strength, holding of Gerrard and Hudson to hold the ball up. For me he's nailed on to start up top with Lambert v Watford. Dissapointing result but the fact that we were far from our best and created numerous chances is very encouraging.

Benik Afobe? I thought he looked pretty useful for Huddersfield last season.
