Yes, I am a Liverpool fan but I have always respected Southampton for the way they have nurtured young talent. For the record Comolli team of scouts identify players for positions the manager wants fulfilled = and comes back with a list. If the manager says no, he doesn't join. Comolli said so himself on many occasions it's a team effort. Hodgson will have the final say on signings. In all fairness Comolli is no different to scouts at other clubs. It's the scouts that go out looking for players (not necessarily the manager) and goes back to the manager with a list.

Happy New Year guys..... Not seen much of AOC and came across this forum and was interested to know peopels opinions of this young talent. 1) Is he as good as Walcott was at the same age and is he as quick as him? 2) What's his dribbling like? Does he rely on his pace to go past players or does he possess good skill and trickery to beat players? 3) In terms of his attributes what do you think is his best position? Can you see him taking up the wide position on a more permanent basis or do you see him moving back into cm long term? 4) Is he two footed? 5) If he moved to a premiership team do you feel he would be ready to start straight away?
