The girls were thinking about the Three Crowns 499 Anlaby Road Hull HU3 6DT (01482 506800) as it is quite close to the Stadium. Meant to good for the Away Fans !! Still waiting for news on Barney when he goes before the beak

Message to the Kitty Cat - Saints girls know that we do not do racism at Southampton FC - they were probably millwall watford chelsea or liverpool... P.S. Message about Barney - he was great in League One - looks like another Lee is getting all the glory now. Once declared INNOCENT - I'm sure his play will get even better

Man Up Cupcakes. All you have shown on this thread is a few Saints Fans partying or having a good time. There are no incidents that I am aware of extreme violence. The girls have voted and think Saints Home and away Fans are brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoyed a bottle of wine and some nibbles at the Piano and Pitcher tonight at Ocean Village and really looking forward to Saturday. I am sure we will have good news on Barney in the next few weeks ...

Yorkie - don't turn into a killjoy and get old before your time Also please don't turn into one of those Forum Politically Correct Police-men where no-one is allowed to express themselves, or have a laugh or fun. The Girls have Spoken P.S BARNEY IS INNOCENT OK !!!!!!!

QUOTE=SaintNeil90;1282903]Christ some of you are depressing. Every club has fans like this! But to moan about fans in a group having a laugh and singing is pathetic. This is a very good post !!! - By the way Barney is up before the beak soon - no point really WE KNOW HE IS INNOCENT - OK !!!
-
I go to quite a few Away Games - as I did last Season and there's been a whole lot of Rubbish posted. The Home Programme has had that page -filling article for a long time now - whoever started this thread needs to keep up !!! Our Away Fans are absolutely brilliant. A lot of the Home Fans should take note of our passionate away fans and and get behind the team at home - instead of sitting in silence. See you at Watford - in one of the pubs before the game !!! Watford 0 Saints 2 xxxx

;)If there's no Alcohol in the Away Supporters Bar in the Ground - then it's got to be Weatherspoons with the option of Walkabout or O'Neils ....... and maybe a Tia Maria and Coke in OddFellows - Why there is no alcohol sold at the ground ??????????
-
Not Sure the best Travel arrangements .... Just going to the Away Supporter:os Bar in the Ground for West Ham Away !!
-
Found some info : Where To Drink? Christopher Harrison a visiting Middlesbrough fan recommends the ODD FELLOWS (previously called 'Macs Bar') in Fearnley Street. 'It is only a couple of hundred yards from the ground and they even had a barbeque in the beer garden'. The bar is situated off Cassio Road and is clearly visible when taking the route to Vicarage Road from the town centre via Market Street. The pub is only a few minutes walk away from the away turnstiles. It has a large beer garden, with a covered area for smokers and offers from its barbecue, Burgers (£3) and Hot Dogs (£2.50). Even though it was very busy on my last visit, I was impressed with the service from behind the bar, getting served in reasonable time (even though it looked like you had no chance of getting near to the bar let alone being served!). Otherwise the ground is in walking distance of the town centre, where along the High St you will find a few pubs including a large WETHERSPOONS outlet called the MOON UNDER WATER - O NEIL'S and a WALKABOUT. If you are feeling peckish then if you are walking to the ground from the town centre then there are a number of eating establishments enroute. Please note that alcohol is not sold in the away section.

Found some info : Probably the best option for away fans is the Wetherspoon outlet called MILLERS WELL which is opposite East Ham Town Hall. It is though about a twenty minute walk away along Barking Road (although it may be an idea to travel to East Ham tube station before the game, go to the pub and then walk to the stadium). Another good option is the DENMARK ARMS also on the Barking Road near the East Ham Town Hall; this is a large pub which shows all live football games'. Away fans may also be able to drink in the DUKE OF EDINBURGH near to Upton Park Tube Station. Turn left out of the tube station and walk to the mini roundabout and it's on your right. There are also a few pie 'n' mash shops nearby (a traditional East End favourite). Turn right out of the tube station and just opposite is 'Duncans Pie n Mash'. Don't be put off by the queue, because they don't hang about and serve you very quickly'. Peter Bennett a visiting Newcastle fan adds; 'We had a drink in safety in the QUEENS on Green Street'. This pub is also near to Upton Park Underground Station (as you come out of the station turn right and the pub is down on the right). Most of the other pubs around the ground are very partisan, and are for home supporters only. The Boleyn Pub on the corner near to the ground, plus the Greengate, Wine Bar and Village pubs all on Barking Road should all be given a wide berth by away fans.

If that were true it would be awesome !! Lots would be spilling out on the pavement ... and it would be a tight squeeze !
-
Are the Saints Fans meeting up at a Pub / Pubs for the Watford Game ??
-
Are the Saints Fans meeting up a Pub or a couple of pubs for the West Ham Game ??
-
I went to the game yesterday with the girls and was with the other 2700 Supporters and all we wanted to know was where was Barney ??????? Barney is really good at Away games and he a battler. He would have been good at keeping the score-line down and we would have at least got the draw. He must make an appearance vs Swindon. We have not forgotten you Barney !!! Please - Nigel - play Barney.

Southampton Girls H8 POMPEY. Southampton Girls believe Lee Barnard to be innocent of all charges. Southampton Girls want Lee to get 20 goals for SAINTS this Season. (Not much to ask really !!!) We Support Lee ... 20 Goals will do for me !! FINAL POST ( Honest !!) - 6,000 INTERNET HITS - BARNEY IS INNOCENT O.K. !!!
-
Just Read that Barney's case is due to be heard on October the 3 in Salisbury of all places apparently his solicitor reckons he will get a fairer hearing there whatever that means. So it looks like he will get a few games in at least!!
-
Hey - almost 6000 Internet Hits supporting the BARNEY IS INNOCENT CAMPAIGN and now it seems Lee has gone underground. Any word from any fan on BARNEY ??
-
Heard a whisper that Barney's Contract is up sooooooooooooon. Need to tie him into a long term deal. He is a poacher of goals and a good Striker.
-
SAINTS striker Lee Barnard has denied an assault at a Southampton night club. The forward's plea was entered by his solicitor, as the player is stranded in Spain after his flight was cancelled. The 26-year-old is accused of an attack at the former Whitehouse bar in Above Bar Street in October last year. According to his legal representative, Easyjet had cancelled a flight from Barcelona and Mr Barnard would not be able to return to the UK until later on Wednesday. A trial date has yet to be decided.
-
Nah - the Girls are pretty (that goes without saying) confident that Barney will have a big weight lifted off his mind this week and he will be back training with the lads. Lee Lee Lee Barnard.
-
Achieved the aim of the Thread of over 5,000 Internet Hits !! Cheers lads - make mine a double !! Good Luck this week Barney
