I'm very happy to be in the top half of the Prem, with 'nothing to play for'. Shame that we f***ed up at Sunderland but it's hardly the end of the world. I'd like to finish 7th as it would be our highest Premier League position... and higher than any other South Coast Club managed in the Prem.

Well that's that. I had a bad feeling about today, Sunderland are becoming our bogey team. Let's face it we were going to crash out sooner or later. We might have fluked our way into a cup final but that would require a lot more luck and a lot more bottle than we've had recently. I'm disappointed as well but I don't think that mid table obscurity is something to be taken for granted.

Danny Fox wasn't good enough for a Premiership club with a vision beyond just staying up (like 99.9% of footballers). In my opinion he was absolutely integral to our promotion (as was Jos) so a victim of his own success in a way I suppose.
