Yessssss Nice one Donny!

I'd like to go up through our own merit, but at the same time there is something quite attractive about the idea of Pompey's liquidation handing us promotion to the Prem.

I can see West Ham dropping quite a few points. Birmingham seems virtually unstoppable though, and Reading worry me.

Second. And, BTW, I called in in August.

I wonder if he has an adapted keyboard for those extra fingers...

Sorry to hear this. Quite fond of the Junction.

Amazing pub that. Was last there about 2004.

Never heard racism at SMS. Heard a particularly nasty comment from a Saints fan about Neil Danns at King Power in August.

Too bad Arsenal are not playing on 19 February. Ramsey could score and Pompey could die the next day. Is their FA Cup match on the 18th close enough...

Agreed. Once the honeymoon is over, the press will have a field day destroying him.

Dune it does take the p*ss out of the Guardian quite a bit as well as the Mail - those are its favourite targets.

Don't know much about Trevor Kettle, seems a bit enamoured of giving cards from the stats though...

Realistic Expectations for the rst of the season...

I said Top 2 at the start of the season. Now I am not so sure. I'm thinking playoffs unless we pull the proverbial finger out. -
If Redknapp should get the job I'll watch the World Cup in Edinburgh.

4. There is a lot of animosity toward 'the establishment' e.g. HMRC, especially when they are against 'the common man' e.g. Harry.

I got home (Bedford) at 1.45, New Street was absolute chaos. Birmingham = worst city I've ever been to. They should burn it down.

I love real ale, although I'll drink any beer that tastes good. Not a big fan of most of the big lager brands.

If there is a 'phoenix club' such as AFC Pompey, I wouldn't necessarily count on them rising through the leagues a la Wimbledon. I envisage a different scenario: they'll have quite a few fans and do well at first. Then they will hit a plateau, say in Conference South, where they begin to struggle to rise out of mid-table. The few become fewer, their children grow up and won't follow a non-league club but instead support Man U/City, Chelsea, maybe (note to Camoron and Hot Penny) even Southampton... Eventually they may be satisfied with this level and live within their means. But if they've got the same deluded fans, imagine a club actually set up by that lot. They'd overspend, not having learned their lesson with the old club, get into debt, and go the way of many non-league clubs before - possibly for the want of a few thousand pounds. They'd be best to throw their support behind an existing non-league club such as Havant & Waterlooville. I have a gut feeling that any football club associated with Portsmouth is doomed...

David Cameron mentions Saints v Pompey rivalry in the house today.

I think there may be a queue forming. Love your avatar btw! -
I never really understood this Brian Howe thing anyway. He can't have that much money, only joined Bad Co when they were washed up anyway, he's probably a pauper in rock star terms.

Maybe government interference in football needs reporting to FIFA...
