  1. For me to walk out of a game: - I would need to be a fan of a club with faded glory but a sense of entitlement. - I would need to be the sort of fan for whom empty gestures and media attention are more important for me than results on the pitch. The 77-minute walkout by Liverpool was just silly. What do they expect when hundreds of millions of pounds are wasted on poor players? they I can't wait to hear them b*tching when they miss out on Europe by 2 points. But of course it will be someone else's fault. Not so much Liverhampton as Portsmouth North.
  2. Problem is, the fans and the board believe it too, which is why he's held on to the job despite underperforming for 10 years.
  3. Cruz scares me more than Trump. Trump would be an embarrassment to the USA and the West in general, but his more 'interesting' political ideas (banning Muslims, building a wall between US and Mexico) will never, ever see the light of day. He's be a one-term President and an aject failure. I do worry about someone that idiotic having their hands on nuclear weapons but if truth be told I think he's too much of a coward to do anything truly horrific. With a Republican congress, Cruz will be able to do pretty much everything he wants. And he's one of those apocalyptic Evangelicals. He'll do whatever his interpretation of Jaysus tells him to do. Also, Cruz could beat Clinton or Sanders easily. Trump would struggle against either as many Republicans want nothing to do with him. Unfortunately this seems to be the new Republican party, where Reagan is cast as a moderate and George W Bush is positively liberal.
  4. That thing is probably so big that she could pick him up by his feet and use his entire body as a vibrator.
  5. Great post
  6. Nailed it.
  7. Syphilitic lesions on my scrotal region have put quite the damper on my daily foray into onanism.
  8. Mmmm. You can't contest a yellow can you? Even if it leads to a red?
  9. I am so feckin tired of hearing about Klopp. First of all, he's not the 'normal one'. There's nothing normal about him, he looks like a serial killer, if I saw someone like that sitting in the park I would move my kids on sharpish. Second of all, gegenpressen (pressing against?) isn't exactly some novel idea. He's 'a manager who likes high tempo football', which as far as I can tell is not unique in the Prem. Of course he's a cut above Brenda, but so are most managers in the top three divisions of English football.
  10. I use 'limey' a lot, although normally to describe a flavour that is close to 'lemony'.
  11. Not sure. Moreno caught him with his trailing leg... what was he supposed to do? It was a last-ditch tackle and he was doing his job.
  12. Not sure that this and the Busst injury are in the same league, but that takes nothing away from this horrific injury. Get well soon, Luke.
  13. High Street Kensington.
  14. Basically the way I see it, we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. Both sides have a hell of a point: violence shouldn't be used to solve violence but we seem to have no other option, we need to intervene but military action just stokes the fire and puts us at risk. I think ISIS/Deash, Al-Qaida or some form of extremist group will be around in one form or another. Until they **** off China, then it's bye bye.
  15. What is a kitten's favourite rock band? Mews.
  16. I don't crow over the deaths of anyone. Ok maybe I do occasionally but I think that media headlines should show some restraint. I'll never forget 'Ship Ship Hooray' at the death of that poor old doctor. How his family must have felt. And 'Bin Bagged'. That was an insult to the bin Laden family name. They never got over it and even crashed their plane years later because they were thinking about it.
  17. My favourite (heard it a few times from people who should know better): The Watford Gap is somewhere in Watford. Therefore anyone north of Watford is a Northerner.
  18. Prefer either side to: Davis - James - Perry - Lancashire - Skacel - Smith - McGoaldraught - Gillett - Surman - Gobern - Paterson Point being, we've come a long way...
  19. We've definitely regressed. Liverpool and Spurs can breath easy now, they've neutralised their competition for 5th and 6th place.
  20. That's very final sir. I prefer to say 'we are not very good at the moment'.
  21. I would buy Pompey and liquidate them. A nice big red-and-white striped car park. For the rest of the £29,990,000 I'd buy Harry Kane to give him the chance of playing at a big club.
  22. I hate to admit it, but I feel the same way. We lose to them at Fratton and we would never, ever hear the end of it.

I'm going to try to get a new job with a better company on better wages. The best way to do this in my opinion is to perform terribly at my current job. And sulk.
  24. Exactly. Real heroes don't need guns! The debate about gun rights is certainly heating up in the USA, which is what has triggered the right wing ammosexual reaction. I think this problem is pretty calcified and will take decades to even make a dent. But it's ever so slowly starting.
  25. 1-1 at 90 mins I reckon
