  1. I got Sunderland. F**k I need a wash.
  2. These. Can't stand to look at that f***** Keane, who to this day doesn't think he did anything wrong.
  3. Like this very much, but: - start with SRL and leave Osvaldo as super sub. - Fonte over Yoshida - switch Lallana ond Rodriguez Also NO Fox and on the bench. Should Shaw get injured switch Clyne to LB and bring on Chambers.
  4. I'm going number one as well.
  5. Transfers in: Brought in some good players (on paper anyway). I like Lovren, jury still out on other two. Worried about unsettlement of squad though. Not sure what our starting XI should be. 6/10 Transfers out: Why Puncheon? Maybe there is something we don't know about behind the scenes. Held on to the best players. The Sharp saga would upset me if I believed every rumour I read. 7/10 Assessment: full marks for trying. Trust in MP and NC, but don't expect infallibility.
  6. ****** to that. I'm looking forward to booing our team against West Ham, and cheering an imaginary Aaron Lennon and Jason Puncheon. That's what separates the real fans from the clappers.
  7. Weird indeed. I think Gaston will continue to improve but taking AL off is strange. Ho hum. In Poch we trust...
  8. Not Saints match related but Connelly sent off for Pompey - made me smile anyway...
  9. Better than the end of Team America: World Police? Ho ho ho. I think not.
  10. Munting is the new spudding.
  11. Walcott and a theoretically fit Ox. Giroud on the bench.
  12. Man United looking at Shaw. Meanwhile, I'm looking at Mila Kunis. Doesn't mean I'm going to get her.
  13. It's awful when this happens. But rejoice in the fact that you have a nutsack droopy enough to allow this - a sure sign of virility.
  14. I bow to your superior postage...
  15. We aren't signing Osvaldo, we're signing Poch in an Osvaldo mask. Therefore they can't both be seen together...
  16. Yes, but it's been a while (12 months)
  17. Gaston on 61'
  18. Yoshida's been substituted, like for like defender on. Not sure if this is due to his performance (please not injury!!)
  19. Wouldn't go to Man City away, which is £55. Happy to pay £40 though. So my breaking point is in between the two. If every match was, say £50-60 I wouldn't boycott completely but would go less frequently. For me though ticket prices are only one portion of the cost (transport, inevitable drinking etc)
  20. ^ He was at Villa for a season I think. Didn't make much of an impact. I never thought that his actions were that bad. He certainly never made it onto my 'grudge' list. And he had a very poor game against us when we played West Brom the penultimate game of the season in 2007/8 (?), when we drew and ended up staying up (just). It seemed he had no intention of scoring against us and relegating us.
  21. This. Spot on about the other two though. And let's face it Spiderman's no slouch.
  22. I like this advert. Every time someone complains, I'm going to put a kitten in a bin. The more vitriolic the complaint, the cuter the kitten and the more putrid and toxic the waste into which he will be dumped.
  23. That has to be up there for me. Also the FA Cup match against Spuds in 2003.
  24. Yes, forgot about them. They held a grudge over Sturrock for years. I was living down in Devon when we appointed and dismissed Sturrock, and the Plymouth supporters were apoplectic that we had discarded such an obvious football genius... Like Pompey they're a town of deluded f*ckwits, violent drunkards, the permanently unemployable, ugly women, and the permanent stench of slightly rotten fish.
