Anyone post on here? Police have released 10 CCTV images of fans they want to speak to following violence in Southampton after the FA Cup tie against rivals Portsmouth. Eleven men were arrested and charged with public order offences after bricks and bottles were thrown outside St Mary's stadium on 13 February. Four of them were also banned from football matches for three years. Officers hope the public may be able to identify the people in the images or those pictured will contact police. Det Insp Linda Howard, from Hampshire police, said: "We are working hard to find those few supposed football fans who decided to mar the day by resorting to violence. "Luckily for most of the 32,000 fans that went to the game it was a great sporting day out even if the result was not what some would have liked. "It would be even better for those in the pictures, if they see themselves, to get in contact with us directly."

What odds on Saints winning the Playoff final ?
S41NTS replied to Armitage Shanks's topic in The Saints
The bookies have us at 7/1 which, interestingly is pretty much the same as MK Dons who currently have 12 more points than us. BTW it took very little googling to find this... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-one/coca-cola-league-1/promotion -

Nice one, just set sky+ so I can watch it with a hangover tomorrow.

It depends 100% on the people you are with. It could go either way.

Less queueing and nicer facilities including a couple of restaurants.

Its not only the big match but also my birthday on saturday and there are a few of us expecting to make a very big day of it. We're thinking Gaolhouse @ 9ish for breakfast and some early beers and then on the train down towards St Marys by 10:30ish depending on how much fun we're having. If you're up for creating the carnival atmosphere that this match deserves feel free to join us.

So, it sounds like they have been given aproximately 9 days to put together a statement of affairs so that the courts can be satisfied that the club is able to continue business. Skysports were reporting that this is an approximation as it depends on when they can proceed in court again due to other matters ( many other businesses in the same situation so it may be extended again )
-
It would be great if we beat them but it would also be great if we lost and then went through anyway...lol.
-
Skysports news just confirmed 9 days.
-
It sounds like the "offers on the table" story has bought them a little more time, interestingly Cardiff & Southend were given 28 days earlier today.

SWT do group discounts. http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/groupsave.aspx#24389 I use this regularly and it brings the price down to around £15 return. The also do larger discounts for groups of 10 or more.

Was I watching a different game? Everyone seems to be liking Fonte's performance but I thought he made quite a few mistakes tonight. Superb result though and great to see and hear St Mary's pretty much at capacity. Cant wait for Wembley!

I've been looking forward to this week for ages. We've got the big match tonight with a Wembley match and trophy at stake and another big match (on my birthday ) on saturday. I now have full on man flu. Arse. -
Its not just SSN, now the BBC are also reporting it. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8493931.stm "And the club's financial woes have continued with the news that the Premier League will hold on to more than £2m from player sales in January."

Rudi Skacel & Kevin Phillips to make a shock return to SMS ?
S41NTS replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
pointless post. -
Surely this coversation is pointless? It's been widely quoted that he's been told if he wants to train and or play it is likely he'll lose the ability to walk. The unfortunate truth is that his playing career is over for good.

How long has it been since we were last outside a relegation zone?
