Booked my ticket earlier. Northam was completely sold out and I was told I got the last ticket in the corner section (block 38 ). Should be a cracking atmosphere.

Just bought it today. Looks pretty good from a graphics point of view. Brilliant infact. My only gripe so far is that whenever you put a couple of wheels accross the grass it invalidates your time on the time trial mode. Did about 10 laps at the new Korean circuit (first one I went on because it's completely new) before I even posted a time. Every time I ran wide onto the grass, time deleted. Maybe I just need to be better.

Looks more like Preston from Wallace and Grommit.

That struck me too. Morgan in particular. At one point in the second half he took the ball past a player, then found himself in space on the edge of the box. I (and quite a few others) was screaming at him to leather it, but instead he took a couple of touches and tried to turn about 3 defenders. He almost drilled himself into the pitch twisting and turning and just lost the ball. If a player has a pop and misses or hit's the 'keeper I'd still be pleased. On a wet slippery dark midweek game like that, anything can happen. A slight deflection, akward bounce or slippery ball and even the lamest daisy cutter can find it's way in.

Needles for me. No idea what the correct medical term is for that, but I'd make a s**t heroin addict. Not great with heights, but I'm not sure that's actually a phobia. As JackFrost said with snakes and spiders, that's partially rational. I'd say a certain caution around heights is ingrained in our evolution. Apes who weren't probably ended up marinading in their own bodily fluids on the floor.

Can't honnestly say I've ever seen him play for Saints, other than MOTD. Doesn't really say much for your career if a club brings in Olivier Bernard to replace you though. I swear the most co-ordinated I ever saw him (Bernard) look was after Laurent Robert tw*ted him accross the head with that free kick.

Brilliant news. If he's half the player he was in '06 I'll be delighted. If not, well you can't go far wrong with a month loan.
