  1. Wouldn't be surprised if Oxo was being watched, but he hasn't set League 1 on fire yet. Can't really see Arsenal bidding for him on anything he's done this season.
  2. Give it 6 months, his toys will be littered around the pram again.
  3. TBF Diniz did give us the best F1 headline ever... Diniz in the oven!
  4. I'm knackered after reading that.
  5. I just don't get why it's even watched any more, let alone one of the biggest showns on TV. Then again there are a lot of things I just plain don't get. February will mark the 10th anniversary of the creation of Hear'say (from wiki, I don't know the date they were created). That's a decade of Pop Idol, Fame Accademy, X-Factor etc. and still people tune in every Saturday night to see which HMV check-out assistant will get the next 15 minutes of fame. It's just the same s**t every time. Why does this not get old for so many people?
  6. Is he good enough to keep Owen and Benjani out the side though?
  7. Serves you right for going in there wearing a balaclava, black and white striped jumper and carrying the cheque in a sack labled "swag".
  8. The snowmen I made last year disappeared around the beginning of March and the Police still haven't found them. This is a very serious issue.
  9. Ben Freeze Lee Badly-insulated Holmes David yellow snowconnolly
  10. Airplane and the Naked Gun trilogy are both excellent. Airplane has got to be the winner overall. Timeless. The first 3 Police Academy movies were good for a silly giggle. Robin Hood, Men in Tights is hillarious. "You changed your name TO Latrine?" "Yeah, it used to be sh*thouse! I've tried to watch Anchorman several times and just do not get it.

  12. Absolutely feck all in Bristol. Not even a flake.
  13. Didn't see his show tonight, but to give him credit he was brilliant on Mock the Week. If nothing else watch this from 4 min 40s onwards.
  14. Actually all their prices are going up by 24% on Friday. Clearly the bloke in the shop thinks you are a c##t.
  15. Ted Striker: I flew single engine fighters in the Air Force, but this plane has four engines. It's an entirely different kind of flying altogether. Rumack, Randy: [together] It's an entirely different kind of flying. Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight? Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice of steak or fish. Rumack: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna. R.I.P.
  16. Your neighbours are both deciduous trees?
  17. Anyone know what was written on Tessem and Beattie's shirts after Tessem scored against Spuds? Good times though. Tessem and Anders goal's were excellent.
  18. I thought you had caught more than one neighbour - dog humping (I assumed you met doggy style) - a cabbage. Painted a slightly odd image in my head.
  19. Without the apostrophe in "neighbour's" that took on a completely different meaning for a minute there.
  20. Sweet. It's winnable, especially at home. Blackpool may rest players. How embarassing would it be though if we won and the papers labeled it a "giant killing".
  21. Was going to go, but the guys I was going with can't make it and I'll be fooked if I'm driving up there and back on my tod. Especially as it could quite easily be called off. It's down to -8C oop Norf at the moment. By 'eck!
  22. I'm likely to be on holiday for that game, so I'm hoping for a nice easy home tie. THEN we can go to the Emirates when I get back .
  23. Well, Case couldn't pronounce Bialkowski, Saganowski or Vignal. I guess as long as we don't have any foreign larks in our team, we're better off with Jimmy. Sorry Bart.
  24. You make an excellent point. I'm going for 0-0.
  25. Okay, a bit more detail now I'm not sat in the station, on my phone (not litterally). Saints did their job pretty efficiently. Cheltenham obviously came for a replay, a couple of fans told me as much before the match. Never really looked interest in our half, other than a few tentative advances when they went a goal behind. Gave up after the second. There definitely needs to be some dealings in the transfer window. Holmes is shot. Short of the second coming of Christ, he is never going to get fit enough to be of any real use. Gobern isn't there yet, neither is AOC. Rickie needs a rocket up his arse like nobodies business. Guly got another goal, but is still far from a finished article. Lallana is an absolute class above anything I've seen in League 1, but he can't play in every game. Dickson can't play LM, neither can Mills. In short, we are very reliant on Lallana for creativity and Barnard for goals. Player ratings. Bart - 7 Had a couple of dodgy kicks first half, but couldn't fault him otherwise. Played on after a couple of batterings, one from Fonte first half which had him flat on the floor. Richardson - 6 Not much wrong, came off injured. Fonte - 7 Never really troubled, dealt with most stuff well. Will be missed next weekend. Jaidi - 6 Good in the air, but slow and a bit hoofy. Dickson - 6 Was a 7 for his LB display, but 5 in midfield. Excellent assist for Lallana's goal and they generally link well together. Holmes - 6 Some good creative play in his all too brief cameo. Time to offload I'm afraid. Hammond - 7 Decent captain's performance, a strong influence in the middle Gobern - 6 Annonymous first half. A bit better second and nabbed a goal. Not good enough for League 1 at the mo. Lallana - 8 MOTM. Took the p*ss and a well executed goal. Lambert - 4 I know this has been done to death on here but please can we have Beattie and/or Le Fondre in January Mr Cortese. Guly - 6 Sometimes he's useful and gets into good possitions, other times he staggers around like a camel on crack. Subs: Butters - 6 No worries here if FR is out for a week or two. AOC - 6 One or two good runs forward, but missed a 1-on-1 and generally had a quiet game. Harding - 5 Didn't look too sharp. Gave away a really sloppy corner trying to see the ball out and allowed someone to nick it and get a cross in. P.S. Cheltenham brought quite a few fans and made a decent fist of getting an atmosphere going a couple of times. Northam was nice and lively too.
