  1. Any security taken over the assets of Southampton Football Club Limited (or indeed St Marys Stadium Limited per Benji's comment above regarding stadium ownership) would be registered at Companies House against those companies though, not against the parent (be it in Hong Kong or the United Kingdom). Those companies would still own those assets regardless of the corporate structure.
  2. About time - just a shame we won't be there to enjoy it.
  3. You have a degree in how many different roles there are in wide areas? Very specific.
  4. He also actually wrote "and possibly Tadic likely to leave" which selectively quoted.
  5. Head and nail
  6. The repetition of 'man up' is a little contradictory considering you're clearly the one getting precious.
  7. I can recall Pardew speaking about St Mary's being too nice a place to come when he first arrived so it's definitely been an on/off issue for a while.
  8. I think on the whole, forwards should always be looking to take penalties where possible. They're the ones that will practising slotting the ball in the corner every training session (albeit not always from the spot). That said, if JWP is on the pitch, he should clearly be in the running.
  9. Let's hope the DM have improved on their "future stars" predictions. Who can forget this beauty:
  10. ....and had spent the second half of the season immediately prior playing for a very poor Aston Villa side.
  11. Whilst I agree that plenty of those listed above are certainly not at the level required by Saints now or going forward, I suspect many of those discounting the entire list due to the status of their current clubs would have said the same about Bertrand upon his signing. Which, as I will freely admit, did I.
  12. I effectively followed this programme: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_4/130.shtml. Interesting what you say about the 80% aerobic figure which is very true. What was frustrating about this time round was that fitness wise, I felt capable, but there was always another niggle on the horizon. Suffering from classic Runners Knee at the moment, but that seems to be slowly fading which is good. Running the Milton Keynes half next week which will be interesting as looks to be quite flat and a good opportunity for a PB.
  13. Please tell me you don't literally mean 8 failed applications! I've applied twice and got in once (on ironically my first ever application). Would love to do it again, as is such a wonderful experience. With so much going on, it also makes it a more enjoyable day for those coming to watch you. How do you find your legs hold up Jason? Really stepped up the training this year, but felt like one problem after another as the mileage went up.
  14. Was training for the MK Marathon until I managed to roll my ankle playing 5 aside, so relegated to the half. Phenomenal effort from some of you guys going/got sub-3 hours.
  15. One of my biggest regrets was not slowing down and taking a year out before uni. Only a few years ago but feels like an opportunity that won't come back round for a long, long time, if at all. Bit sad really.
  16. Exactly. Maya has come on well but the idea of comparing the two is a bit laughable. Hence how ones linked with City and one, well isn't.
  17. 2009? That long ago? That makes me sad
  18. Wonder if it will be any better than our own offering at trying to *improve* cyclist safety coming off the Itchen Bridge?
  19. Also signing him would be like signing three players, he's so versatile. Mind you, Maya always does a job when shifted
  20. Agree - seems to be standard car for the Premier League footballer if Sky Sports Deadline Day is anything to go by though
  21. Remember what I think(?) was his first goal for us. No idea who it was against but was a close finish, six yards if that. Completely duped the GK and sent it top corner. Was a cracking goal and his body shape and technique for that showed how capable he was very early doors for us.
  22. Would be amazed if there weren't a host of clubs (PL and otherwise) after him come the end of the season. Going to be a massive battle
  23. Bog cleaners of the world, unite and take over
  24. Of course, but Durham is paid to get people to phone in, usually irate and challenge his views. He knows what sort of reaction he'd get by nominating Mark Hughes. I like him but sometimes you can sense his attempts at being divisive for the sake of it a la his strange obsession with Arsenal
