The fact that so much more coverage and can see all away games on tv. And beating the big boys is always satisfying the buzz after CIty, Liverpool, and Chelsea can never be matched in lower leagues as we always half expected to beat any of the top teams in L1 and Champ. And can only really think of 2 home games where have been completely disappointing- Sunderland and QPR Another reason: Staying up this season and the guarantee of having even more financial clout if relegated from now on will ensure far more bounce back in first season then previously. Not good overall for football IMO but hey we are in there. Imagine Phil Gartside is not pushing the Premier League no relagation motion much these days

It's Prima Donna - just for the record like

He's a great cultured player but QPR appear to have very little team spirit, unsurprisingly considering their general policy of signing overpaid under performers most past their best. Fact that someone didn't perform in that set-up in their first season in prem wouldn't overly worry me. And imagine no one will be offering the QPR money as done f ck all to show he is worth it this season. Being on a huge clubs books at young age can also get people over excited as clearly must have bucket loads of talent but application and working hard that make s you a great player. Imagine MP knows all about him though

I was at West Ham also. There was cheering in Saints end at first when announced game delayed. No one realised the seriousness initially and thought it was hooligans. I can't remember mood turning sombre but remember later seeing Sunday papes on sale in London and realsiing the scale. Something more innocent not having Twitter and mobile devices

slightly off thread but in Frog and Parrot after game a lad with a Millwall shirt was on his own watching game and loads of West Ham fans giving him **** - fair play to him though he was standing up to them but got ejected for his own safety. Plenty here saying fighting ok but so many 'hard men' at football only prepared to have a go when numbers stacked with them. Although said Millwall fan did appear to have a screw loose. To all those saying they expect away fans to get a kicking for celebrating it think depends on the fan and circumstance- a dad with his kid celebrating teh football is not the same as someone taken the p1ss provoking and gets what he deserves/should expect. Often cowards will attack the dad type fan not the proper thug so not as principled as they like to state. Also curious that so often doesn't kick off in pubs with rival fans any more - what is difference btween the tribal non-rugby approach? Bottle? TBH i have grown out of it but still irks me.

Somebody must have had a word with him as even praises us in teh Reading prediction. As well as his league table would be interesting to see profit/loss if backed his outcomes and results over the season.
-
Quality. Wasn't he only a couple of years in to last deal?
-
Nowt wrong with Linayker
-
The current form table would have to be static though for prediction in OP. i cant recall saints 6 results mirroring their 6 previous to that..ever
-
I was in that group - even singing Saints songs at times and only one threatening look from 12 yo kid. Was like being at the rugby

When Oliver Morar tweets people need to listen

Does anyone know about his home life? Has his missus (assume he has one) come over with him? He was seen wondering around Southampton on his own [source protected] looking pssed off and bored and possibly a factor that not much to occupy him in this area. How he could be bored with West Quay beggars belief!
-
Hard to distinguish who is on a wind up and who does actually care but you do know that is his league positions against actual? Love the smugness of the ones who take the higher ground and state they and we shouldn't care though, especially when they don't know they are being wound up themselves be faux outrage.

And Merson..... I just hope the emotions don't get in the way of the game with Nigel Adkins playing his former club. Reading have to win and if they lose, I think they can turn the lights out as well. No disrespect to Southampton but they are not that far from the lower end of the table and Reading aren't going to play many more teams like that. They need to start winning quickly. Southampton have done very well; they have beaten the top teams. They've struggled away from home but I think Southampton will go there and make sure they don't lose. Reading need to win and Southampton need not to lose. It is exactly the same as the QPR game and I am going to go for a draw here. I think Southampton have enough to get that draw. PAUL PREDICTS: 2-2 Top punditry again

i for one am disappointed there arent more threads on him. Such a rich topic with so much to debate
-
Cheers - will check out puffin. Iswifter as well
-
Surely nothing new get spit on these lawro threads but does make me smile. More twits getting irate with posts declaring their disinterest though. Like that he always thought we'd be safe but his predictions indicate that cannot be the case.

Says a cnt with 9000 posts. Hectic social life mate?
-
'Always fancied them to be ok' what with your predicted 22 pts?!

Does Saints player work on iPad? I might subscribe if it is a yes but don't know if relies on Flash. Many thanks

Who is this Barry fella getting all the replies? His first post indicates he doesn't warrant much attention.

Is there going to be another post when we are mathematically safe so all those saying 'not until we are mathematically safe' can post yes? Saying we are not until we are is not really understanding the point of the post What was the question again? Oh yes although form changes hence I never beat the bstrd bookies
