Yours possibly were... how else do we explain the fact that you ended up with such a basic lack of respect and tolerance for anything other than your own narrow views? Or that, when challenged on your views, you do not possess a single brain cell which has the ability to debate things in a reasonable and cogent manner, and must resort to these kinds of sweeping judgements. On Saints stuff I can actually cut you some slack - but if this is your true colours, then I actually pity you.

A good article about it: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/malaysia-airlines-flight-mh17-why-was-a-passenger-plane-flying-over-a-conflict-zone-in-ukraine-9613412.html Nothing was flying over the area below 32,000 feet. That was assessed to be a safe altitude such that commercial aviation would not be affected by what has, largely, been ground based conflict. No one in their right mind would knowingly put commercial aircraft in danger, not least Ukrainian aviation authorities who are responsible for that section of airspace as they know that international support for their efforts could be compromised if they weren't seen to be doing the right thing. Worth pointing out that it's still down to the airlines themselves if they wish to use certain routes, so clearly all the airlines using this very well-used route from Europe to Asia also felt there was no risk until this point also - but bear in mind their decision is taking with commercial interests in mind, and it is risk assessed accordingly. Easy for us to say it should be safety first, and that *any* risk is too much risk, but in todays world that isn't 'commercially viable'. I personally don't agree with that, but it is undeniably the case.

Difficult to glean much but Reed looked very sharp.

Anyone ever seen a better one in the UK than the one that just passed over Southampton?! The lightening show was pretty impressive.

No seriously, get a life.

Some people really need to get a life.

Who?: Sporting Hasselt, who are "voetbalcub in 3e klasse" in Belgium. Why?: No idea.
-
Nothing official, but saw it mentioned somewhere that it wouldn't carry over to any qualifiers.

Sorry Franny - video was great but watching MLT and his daughter was funnier than listening to you at some points! Awesome challenge though, good luck to him!

Let me save you the hassle. It's not. I just hadn't heard what Antony Pulis was up to nowadays and found it a bit weird that of all places I'd find out, was in a JRod retweet. I did warn you it wasn't of any real interest.
-
Screamer from Davis, even if you can't see it that well!
-
Of little or no interest probably, but what the hell, I'm bored: Yes, @antpulis is who you're thinking of. Can only assume JRod is represented by BeswicksSports too?

Interesting comments here from Fonte about the need for new players. Nothing particularly new here, but the way he says it, it's clear that they're expecting more signings just as we are: [video=youtube_share;39-N4gWI0-M]

Biggest insight yet about tactics under Koeman fron Jose Fonte in the latest video - basically very similar so far: [video=youtube_share;39-N4gWI0-M]

Oh Wizz2525, bless you. Just popped back to this thread to see if anything much had changed. It hasn't. I'm happy now. Back in a few months to see how close Eastleigh are getting to relegating the Skates down to number FIVE club on the South Coast.

Quite clear view of Blackburn fans applauding Matty's sublime dribble and placed shot into the top corner past Flowers at Ewood Park awhile back... as John Boy says, sometimes it's spontaneous recognition of something that you think 'crikey, that was quality'. I have nothing to add about the fixtures, sorry.

Sorry, you're not the first... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?50632-Closing-in-on-a-Manager&p=1967836#post1967836

Right now, U-21 development squad are away at Carlisle Utd... and 5-1 down with 75 mins played! To be fair, it is quite a young side I believe, a lot of Academy players in there. https://twitter.com/Alex_SFCMedia

Koeman's first Southampton press conference 11/7/14
Minty replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
I would expect questions about Schneiderlin and Lovren at the very least, and about other potential transfer targets. How much of an answer we get remains to be seen, but hopefully he'll also have plenty to say about pre-season so far and his preparation of the squad, perhaps about any youngsters making a step up or not. -
Here's a link that might help

Some might call it 'maturity'...

Time for a poll isn't it mods?

I'm sure once The9 is back from abroadland he'll be on the case. Actually, he might be on the case already...
