This thread has been very helpful, and also very confusing. So much choice! Gonna have to start somewhere. The Cube I was recommended comes with Mavic wheels, hence it is apparently excellent value. Think I'm going to buy from a local shop rather than online for my first. Going to look at some more later today.

Went and had a look at a few today (not dismissing the other suggestions so far, but need to see some in the flesh and look at parts etc...) Had the Cube Peloton Race recommended to me - a little more than I was planning on but on 0% finance that wouldn't be a problem. Any thoughts on that particular bike? Seems to have good reviews.

Not sure about what the Board need to do, but IMO some fans need to take note of things like these quotes from Jose Fonte in the Mirror article... ... and realise that it's ok to not be happy about the players leaving, but it doesn't automatically follow that we have been lied to or that the Board are 'incompetent' as many believe. "That's football".

Not scaling back, but stopping any new investment... I.e. The club must fund itself. Something I've wanted for a long time because it puts the club on a sound footing for the future.

If you were KL you would be working with him on a daily basis and know more about what actually happens, rather than commenting from a position of significant ignorance. He hasn't lost me. I'm certainly no fan of his, but I don't think he deserves the judgement that some of you have put on him.

Well, to be honest, no one here does have a clue, so he's right. He wasn't blaming anyone, just pointing out, quite rightly IMO, that unless you're within the club and part of the process, then chances are you don't know what goes on.

Seriously? You're able to make that full judgement on his ability based on the fact he doesn't say what you want him to say and how you want him to say it? Not fair to just pick on you here Colin, so apologies for that, but there are too many people making judgements clouded by their own expectations IMO...

Before he gets too much criticism for what he is or isn't saying, no one promised you any new information... it could simply be that 5Live asked for an interview so if there is no new information, you're not going to get any.

I think you're completely over-analysing. It isn't offering solutions, or equalising anything, and it certainly isn't trying to go head to head with you or anyone else in a political discussion. It is rising above all of that and simply saying that innocent people, including so many children, are dying. And that needs to stop. I'm sure you agree with that.
