So far... keep the faith.
-
Stay patient. Chances will come. Like the look of Gardos so far, but not tested yet.
-
Called that pretty early - hope it works out.
-
Swansea WILL catch us on the break if we get complacent. Gotta be positive but not overconfident.
-
Yoshi has done ok, but his main error was letting Routledge in behind him when they hit the woodwork.
-
Both were deserved yellow cards, Monk can have no arguments.
-
Bony is such a good player but he's let himself down there.
-
Ooh interesting. Silly from Bony. Don't like to see it, but deserved.
-
WTF is this ref up to.
-
And I don't think there is a major problem with the midfield other than our passing is too wayward. Keep the ball better and we'll come in to it more.
-
I would probably replace Yoshida with Gardos. Not confident in Maya.
-
Fonte got the ball. Ref has been done by Bony there.

Unotelly is £3 a monthy, PLP via the Taiwan site was about £40 for the whole season I think... can't remember now, instructions were earlier on in this thread I think.
-
LOL! I wouldn't be having that if I were Shane...
-
Just to say Premier League Pass via Unotelly remains excellent for me...
-
Twas 40 consecutive touches actually.
-
Showed real quality today. Movement off the ball, link up play, some quality touches, some first time, some not... an excellent first goal, slightly lucky but coolly taken second, sublime flick just before the fourth. Very promising start to his Saints career.
-
40 consecutive passes before Morgan scored the fourth goal. Absolutely beautiful to watch (and I have just done so several times!). MOTD probably won't do it justice, hopefully the OS will.

The next line is more important: "That was not a possibility for him and he is a player of Southampton and has to bring the spirit to the team and maybe I will change." i.e. I know who is my number 1, but if Boruc knuckles down then maybe he'll change my mind. Seems fair enough, and also sounds like he's been honest Boruc throughout.

The description is wrong. One should've said 'OSH 750ml'. It clearly isn't a 500ml bottle... the 50% free packaging may lead the price to be the same as the 500ml bottle, but it is clearly NOT a 500ml bottle, it is a 750ml. So Tesco have made a mistake here IMO, by using the same description. And as much as I hate Tesco myself (it rankles even more when you realise that their own roots was as a market stall trader) this is clearly just a mistake on the part of whoever did the labels. As highlighted already, the problem comes when you have staff who have no idea how to deal with that situation, and no manager to deal with it.

If every football fan who has seen the guy play donated just a quid he should get to £1m easily. Promote along those lines perhaps? Needs cross posting to other forums too?

Worth noting that now that companies are on RTI, these kinds of things can usually be rectified fairly quickly. We used to only get P6 notices (change to tax code) through very occasionally and stuff was rectified after year end, but RTI now means it is all adjusted more quickly in year where possible and we get P6's through most months now. You should know which tax code you are on as HMRC should've sent you a letter confirming it, if it has changed recently. As Steve has said, a larger amount of hours in one month may mean their payroll package starts to tax you based on projected earnings for the year, however the company also have to declare your average weekly hours, which also goes towards the calculation. Bands are: A - 0 to 15.99 hrs B - 16 to 23.99 hrs C - 24 - 29.99 hrs D - 30 hrs or more E - Other And there is also a check box for 'irregular hours'. We don't have any casual workers on our payroll anymore (they're treated as self-employed now) but if we did we would tick that last box, but I'm not sure how it affects your tax calculations on a monthly basis. The one thing I do know is that HMRC prefer to get more tax than is due and pay it back, than to not take enough in the first place and have to recoup it, and irregular payments or 'casual' staff are likely to get hit up front a bit more I would suspect!

Fox Sport reckon we are losers in the transfer window
Minty replied to Black Sea Saint's topic in The Saints
Opinions, arseholes etc, etc. Don't give it the oxygen of publicity. -
Thing is, EVERYONE is going to have an opinion which is swayed by those they talk to or who they get more information from. Even me, despite my seemingly perpetual status as someone 'on the fence' and with 'splinters in my arse'! Blackmore is no different, and to a certain degree part of his job is to relay things that he hears from various sources and transmit it to fans, which he did. I think he's pretty good at retaining some balance and putting across different sides, but it was an emotive time for a lot of people, so I can see how it might come across. Emotions are a big part of football, which is a good and bad thing depending on where and when and why. Whilst I'm usually one of the first to say 'let's wait and see', I also accept with hindsight that people are different, and some are more susceptible to their emotions than others, and the worst thing you can do to someone whose emotions are up because of the goings on, is to then tell them to calm down and wait and see, or that they are being negative! FF and I have had some exchanges on this and I know he's got ******ed off with me at times because I come across as unemotional, and have been quick to jump on him (and others) when, in my view, they have taken an overly negative stance. I'm certainly not one for digging up old posts to show people up. Things could've worked out differently. They still might. Football is a game after all, and its those good and bad surprises that make it what it is. I just happen to not worry about the bad stuff any more. The main thing I think we could all do with remembering is that we should all be a bit more tolerant with others.

This made me chuckle. Man Utd new line-up when everyone is fit:
