Patience is a virtue. Get in.
-
That's the spirit, get down there and help RK with his team talk!
-
Which is exactly why we need to keep the faith and not allow our frustration to get the better of us... especially the fans at St Marys. We've always been better in the second half under Koeman so far... All of which means we'll probably lose.
-
We've opened them up a few times and had several more where we were nearly in but for an offside or overhit pass. We're not far away, plenty to be positive about, just need to keep the faith and find that extra 1 or 2 % that'll open them up.
-
Sportsnationhd has been good... i paid just for today as PLP is down.
-
It's fine, patience is key, we'll never dominate the whole game.
-
He knows the rule, he's playing a % game. There'll be plenty against him, but there only needs to be one or two in his favour and we're in.
-
Steady start, containing their attacks and looking dangerous on the break. Stay patient and we'll open them up. Mane playing right on the shoulder of the last man... a couple of the offsides have looked mighty close. Hes going to be frustrating at times, but he's a livewire and he'll cause problems.

Summary: Ronald Koeman's pre-QPR press conference
Minty replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
There's a quiet confidence about Koeman - this is completely irrational but I just feel like we're in safe hands. -
Stick to plain text please, much easier to read!

Interesting stat.

Summary: Ronald Koeman's pre-QPR press conference

Dunno why but my favourite is when he says the word 'half'. He's so specific with his pronunciation, it sounds like 'har-ulff'. Just me probably. -
5 for Tommo now! He's gonna win promotion all on his own. Off to a meeting until 1530 now... fully expect us to be promoted by the time I come out!
-
There was me saying to put them in before lunch... at this rate they might be OUT before lunch!
-
And another! Tommo on a hattrick!
-
1 down, 9 to go.
-
A tad harsh I feel ART. Peach has always been pretty objective regarding everything that has happened IMO.
-
Answer my own question... maximum of 24. Just need to get on and win, don't we?
-
443 the lead. Plenty of time to now skittle them out. Famous last words... (Essex should wrap up their win just after lunch so a little bit of pressure... how many points will they get?)
-
Indeed. Wood and Ervine gone now too... we've tried a bit of Twenty20 batting I think. Should get 450 though.
-
Lol, he doesn't know much about what goes on at his own club...
-
Wheater gone now, a lead of 407 with 5 wickets remaining. I think I will settle for your previously mentioned 450.
-
Already posted it in the other Samuel thread...

I don't think anyone disagrees with the notion that such upheaval is unlikely to be a good thing a second time... but the fact that Samuel overlooked the fact that the departures were primarily down to our chairman and manager leaving, having both contributed to the progress and expectations of the players who left. His whole original article was based around the board thinking that it might be a good idea to do similar next year purely from a financial point of view when, whilst we did well financially, and Cortese may have put us in a position where it was needed, it was almost certainly a one-off. He didn't even touch on this.

Or maybe it's just a case of saying to the batsmen: "You have one session... do your worst." ???
